I’m debating cancelling my Bronco preorder since they aren’t taking new orders in 2023 for a while and switching to a f150 Rattler order. I like the dual exhaust and fx4 tech along with the styling, think it’s a good deal. How’d you spec yours and what was msrp?

I ordered one about 2 weeks ago. The 2023 price increase of the Tremor was too much. With it being an XL trim you are limited on what you can option it with unfortunately but it certainly keeps the cost down. Got the bed utility package, color Avalanche, really not much else to add. Debating on factory running boards as well.

Yeah I was looking at the Tremors too before I preordered a bronco, price was just too much for me for 2023. I might head down to my dealer and price out a Rattler. Do you know what the price increase was for a 2023 XL? Im hoping I can keep it about 50k, but we will see. If I end up ordering one I’ll probably add the running boards. I had the factory ones on my last f150 and they were great, and it saves me the hassle.

Fun fact. Just got called today Ford will not build a V8 Rattler. Must go with the eco boost option. Trying to decide what to do.

Damn that’s a deal breaker for me then, the whole reason I wanted the rattler was the coyote. Might end up doing xlt heritage instead, we’ll see.

I ordered a v8, just got the same news….. trying to figure out my plan going forward. Was told there was constraints on 5.0 per fords email. For the time being I switched to the. 3.5 going to build a heritage in a few

I wonder if the constraints on the 5.0 goes for all trims? My primary interest in ordering another f150 is for the 5.0, and if I can’t order one then I’ll just wait until I can or get something else I guess.

Yeah I don’t know. I went in person drove a 3.5 cause my previous f150 s have all been v8. It drove fine and the 3.5 only adds 400 dollars roughly, so I’ll just stick with my build. I have 2.9 at 72 locked in, and a plan pricing….. if I had to guess ford is removing v8s from the lower trims, reserving It for tremor only.

Tried ordering a 2023 Rattler 5.0 today and it would not allow the dealer to select that configuration. Months of research looking for a durable truck engine with a rear locker. The V8 Rattler had everything I wanted. Now back to the drawing board.

I literally had an order sheet with 5.0 v8 rattler and called the dealer today and they confirmed they just had got the email…. just Wish ford would have announced this when they announced the rattler not let me order it then change it. I’m going to stick with the package though cause it does add some nice touches.
