FYI...I received information from Ford that the Rattler Package will closed by mid-September. Also requires the 3.5L Ecoboost engine.

Reminds me of the Lightning Pro.
Another "XL" based truck that Ford doesn't really want to sell to everyone who would choose one.

Anyone know if it is possible to order a 2023 F150 STX with the 5.0?

What is the next most durable small V8 equivalent to the Rattler? RAM 1500 Backcountry or Chevy Trail Boss 5.3?

That was quick and I have one on order. I wonder what this is all about. They are going to discontinue the package altogether, or is this temporary?

Exactly! Ford was hoping that budget minded folk would configure the Rattler but then justify getting the Tremor once they stepped into the showrooms.

Instead they discovered a popular and affordable package but now need to find ways to make people not buy it because the bean counters are panicking about it cannibalizing Raptor and Tremor sales.

Who knows? I think they just realized that they will reach their quota for the year by then.

The dealerships will be happy with this because it gives them another model they can price gouge on!
