Anyone know how to get rid of this message? "Full view not available"

On the MY24, you can leave the rear view camera on when driving? However there is a message “Full view not available” which blocks seeing the cars. Any one know how to get rid of it?

Change the following in FORScan. Just did this on my 24 Lariat when I picked it up 2 weeks ago. However mine seem to be enabled by default from factory so no change needed.

Removes black box on reverse camera that says "full view not available"

Yes the latest version of FORScan works with 2024s. If you have the existing/older version, just download and re-install using the new FORScan version. The version is 2.3.62 (public release)

I use the standard license on a Windows 11 laptop. It's funny, trying to get rid of this stupid message is what led me to discover Forscan in the first place.

@Snakebitten can you offer help here. Does @BigJim need to email the forscan guys for a code or something to work with his 2024 truck?

I didn't see where he stated that it doesn't work with his truck, but yes. It's not unusual for Forscan to not be able to read a current year model vehicle.

Forscan has instructions for sending an email to them with a couple of attached files. They use data from the attached files to create a new build of Forscan that is then capable of working with the vehicle in question.

I don't have the instructions in front of me to copy/pasted the exact files to attach. I think the instructions are on the Forscan forum. I'll see if I can dig it up

doesn’t doing this affect a trailer function within the head unit? i thought i seen something about it somewhere..
