I saw someone (maybe you) posted the following Forscan changes.
726-79-02 xxx1-xxxx-xxxx
726-71-01 x1xx-xxxx-xxxx
726-79-01 x2x1-xxxx-xxxx

This wasn't me who posted the above, but I am pretty sure that is what I changed on mine. Nothing in easy.

I think I ended up doing the changes that start at the 9:16 mark of this video:

Double checked all forscan changes. Bed light is enabled, rear input and the other change are all as they should be. I still believe I am not getting power.

Can anyone confirm the C406 plug is the plug where the new harness plugs into? I wanna double check the wires are there.

Same ones I tried. I'll crawl under there one day this week and dig into this. I'll reread the thread again. Thanks again for all your help.

Im at a loss....here is the truck side of (what I believe is the C408 plug). It is my understanding the whi/grn where, the blk/yel, and the vt/grn...

Again, i purchased the new "E" harness.

Please help. This is driving me insane! Using my test light im not getting power to the whi/grn wire...according to the schematic this should be hot.

Is this the vehicle side of the plug or the rear harness side? Wondering if you are looking at the wrong plug end?

I wish I was. Its the truck side. I have everything installed and did the forscan changes. No lights. When I originally looked I saw a Gn/wh, Blk/Yel, and VT and whatever and assumed im good so I bought everything...so I guess now I just need to figure out where to snatching power from and figure out if the interruption (switch) is power or ground.

The button in the bed of the truck is a grounded button. If I remember correctly. When you press the button it sends a ground signal to the bcm and that is what triggers the lights to come on. I would figure out where the correct bcm is and the 2 pins you need then run new wires from the bcm back to your plug.

Thank you for posting the pinout that is the one thing this thread was missing. Now the only other thing this thread is missing is what pins to use if you want to just repin your harness vs tapping the wires or spending a couple hundred bucks on a new bumper/bed harness.

I am pretty sure I found the correct pins for the body harness on Amazon so you can just add the 2 wires into your factory bumper harness. Once I confirm these are the correct pins and everything works I will post links to everything I purchased. Along with how I made my harness with photos. I haven't totaled everything up but my guess is around $150 for everything and I went overkill on some items but everything will look factory.

I purchased a new bumper/tailight harness that has all the correct wires. My issue is from the BCM to the new harness I have no wires in Pin 28 and 31. I believe one is power to the switch and the other is power to the LEDs. I can tap the cargo light or maybe the cargo lamp switch in the dash and provide power, but I want to try and go the OEM route.

Did you confirm in your truck at the C408 plug you have the appropriate wires on the truck side?
