Anyone install 2024 OEM LED bed lights

What was incorrect on the E harness? Did it have the duel taillight plugs?

Yes- it had the correct taillight, bed light, and switch plugs. however- because my truck is a Power Boost- the inverter was not correct. It had the regular 120 volt plug but not the 2.4 Kilowatt Pro Power plugs.

It should be the #RL3Z-13A409-E

Remove one of your taillights and you should have 2 plugins that look like this:

On the drivers side under the truck near the back bumper there will be a plastic thing that has 2 connectors attached to it- verify that it looks like this:

Quick question to start—does anyone know where I can buy the correct pins to add wires into my OEM harness? Someone shared the pin info earlier in this thread, but I haven’t been able to track down new pins. I’m trying to build my own harness without tapping into the two wires.
Here’s where I’m at with my install:
The total cost for everything on Amazon came out to $82.73 plus tax. There are definitely cheaper options for a few items, About $20 of that total went toward wire, cloth wire loom tape, and wire loom zip ties.
The hardest part was finding the right connectors for the lights and switch. The ones I’ve listed below fit the switch perfectly, and with a small modification (cutting a slit down the side for the plug guide), they also fit the lights just right.
I removed the blank plug where the switch goes and cut the opening to fit the switch. Now I just need to run the wires, connect the plugs, wrap everything in loom tape and find the correct pins for the oem harness.

@Golfdude1958, that helps tremendously! I can confirm my taillight plugs are identical. I will have to crawl under my truck again and check those other things. I called the Ford dealerships i purchased it at, the parts guy took the traditional parts guy attitude of I am bothering him, but he settled down eventually. He was who provided me the info I posted earlier but I had to extract that out of him. He said the only way to know for sure was for me to find a truck with the same trim as mine with bedlights....I thought perhaps there could be something that fits this bill on his lot, but he couldn't be troubled. None the less, your recent post is encouraging and I'm 95% ready to purchase the E harness. Once I aquire all the parts, I think the only hard part will be cutting the blanks out of the bed liner, then onto illuminated vanity mirrors, ambient lighting, rain sensor/auto wiper, heated steering wheel and whatever else I can waste money on my beloved basic bitch

To add the heated wheel you need a new SCCM, heated wheel, AC controller if you want the hard button or for free you can do the soft button with forscan on your SYNC. There are several threads. Most critical piece is getting the correct SCCM.

I was looking at one thread and saw that it might be more than I want to deal with right now.

I've purchased these from Digi-Key. Molex MX150 connectors. They also have the correct keyed bodies.

I can confirm (at least for my 2025 STX (201A) the RL3Z-13A409-E harness works. Thank you for all your help.

Also, FYI. The part numbers I gave for the illuminayed sun visors do not fit the 25 properly. They are for for 21-23. They dont sit flush to the headliner. Don't waste your money like I did because Ford is treating me like they owe me child support after the sale.

I actually got my bed lights working today after 2 months of trying to make this happen. The RL3Z-13A409-F was the correct harness for my 2025 XLT PB with the 2.4 Kilowatt PP. The exchanging the harness was the easy part of doing this. I should have done some tutorials on the ForScan because I was completely lost in performing these changes. The bottom line is that everything is working and tomorrow I will be installing my tuner. Here are some pictures for anyone who is interested in the correct harness:

All wired up, forscan complete....and nothing. Verified i had the 2 wires in the C406 plug, added the new harness, plugged everything in, no lights.....

Mine worked with the ‘F’ harness. Did you buy the ‘E’ harness or try wiring it up with homemade connectors? Double check that your switch is working properly. You should be able to jump the wires on the back. I am not very happy with the switch that I got from Amazon. It doesn’t click in and out like the factory switch.

I purchased all OEM stuff (new). I did go with the "E" harness. I was under the assumption that if the 2 wires were present on the ECM side of the C406 plug, I could plug and play.

Using a test light I am not getting power to either pigtails at the light. I haven't checked the switch yet. I guess I have a date with my test light and meter this weekend.

Are you sure that the ForScan changes took affect? Double check that you have made all 3 changes in the ForScan and that they have been written into the module. If you aren’t getting power to the switch it has to be this.

I am not 100% sure. I even reached out to @livinitup to confirm. He said there is only one change in the BCM. Looking at his spreadsheet, I found two possible in the "As-Built".

In "Easy" I found "Enable" bed light" which addressed one of the above in the "As-Built", then there was something in the "Easy" in the BCM, searching "Bed" that I selected the type of lighting.

I saw someone (maybe you) posted the following Forscan changes.

Just to confirm the C408 plug is the plug the new "E" harness plugs into, correct?

Supposedly a Green/Violet and a White/Green wire MUST be present. According to the diagram, the White/Green is "hot" at all times. I see no mention of a Green/Violet in the diagram (Lighting Package Level A), just a Black/Yellow for ground. Unless I am missing something, I believe the lights are simply a 2-pin connector. Not sure about the switch.

I know if LED's are out of phase they wont work. I wonder if I have a pigtail that was mis-pinned? With those plugs there is no way to mess that up.
