I also have an EBD harness. Again mine is similar to yours in that I don't have on board scales. You should take a peek at your tail lights and check if you have the black or grey connector.

Assuming yours is grey like mine, I found another 2024 Lariat 502a powerboost that has on board scales and it has the "P" wiring harness. I'm tempted to just buy that but I haven't pulled the trigger yet as I'm already sitting on a "K" harness that I have no use for. If you end up going down that route, be sure to post here for others.

I currently have a 2024 F150 lariat with the following packages/options:

-INCLUDED ON THIS VEHICLE EQUIPMENT GROUP 501A LARIAT SERIES OPTIONAL EQUIPMENT/OTHER -2024 MODEL YEAR STAR WHITE METALLIC TRICOAT 995.00
-3.5L POWERBOOST FULL HYBRID 1,990.00
-HYBRID ELEC 10-SPD AUTO TRANS NO CHARGE
-275/60R20 BSW ALL-TERRAIN 3.73 ELECTRONIC LOCK RR AXLE NO CHARGE
-7400# GVWR PACKAGE
-LARIAT BLACK APPEARANCE PKG 1,000.00
-.20" GLOSS BLACK PAINTED ALUM
-50 STATE EMISSIONS NO CHARGE
-PRO POWER ONBOARD - 7.2KW 750.00
-BLUECRUISE EQUIP: 90DAY TRIAL
-TOW/HAUL PACKAGE 785.00
-.INTEGRATED TRAILER BRAKE CONT .LESS ONBOARDSCALE/SMART HITCH
-FX4 OFF-ROAD PACKAGE 1,095.00
-.SKID PLATES
-.LINER-TRAY STYLE-NO CARPET MA
-STANDARD FUEL TANK

My truck (with RL3Z-13A409-H harness) lacks the bed utility package. I tried adding the bed lights, but encountered issues similar to those discussed by you and @nthads. Specifically, the K-version harness (which I purchased) had incompatible taillight connectors, causing blind spot sensor errors. I'm looking for confirmation on the correct harness (specifically, if the P-version is the right one).

I have the same color tail light connectors in my 2024 Lariat 501a as you do. The weird thing is when I type my vin in the Ford parts site, and type in my existing harness RL3T-13A409-EAD it says it doesn’t fit my vehicle. Lol.. I know the J harness doesn’t work in my application. Maybe it is the P harness?? It would be nice if they had some pics on the parts sight like every other part in this install.
This is a bummer. I was keeping track of this forum and did the same exact thing. I also got the same J harness, just to find out you made the same discovery almost a week ago. Had I known I would have taken one for the team and ordered the P harness. I have been in contact with somebody that told me to get RL3Z-13A409-N. Im once again stuck. I was so excited to go the oem route as I planned originally to go the tap route.

I did some more research and my truck 2024 501a Lariat has the led tailights set up for onboard scales, so I came up with rl3z13a409n as the correct harness as my truck also has inverter #1. Found out also it has the VDM module as well as the sensors on all 4 corners.

With that being said have you ordered this harness yet? If not I can be the test dummy for both of us.

2025 F-150 XLT Powerboost 303A, BAP, White
Hello All,

I can confirm this still works on 2025 F-150 Powerboost. The wires and pinout are still the same. I had installed my bed lights and switch a couple of weeks back but had to wait for Forscan to recognize my truck, and it is as of the latest Forscan release. The settings are also the same. I bought the Ford OEM lights, switch and the light harnesses, but opted to make my own from the body connector to each light harness in which I cut off the OEM connectors and solder/heat-shrink my connections. And for those interested in which body harness the 2025 PB XLT 303A w/o scales, w/incandescent tail lamps, the tag was "BCE".

Cheers,
Chad

confirming I have the grey(almost white) connector.
Out of curosity, when you punch your VIN in online what part comes up as your native harness?

IMG_4641.jpg
@SquigglyBrace Just checked again, I am also an "H" online (even though it shows me as a 3.5 non-PB). Meaning:[RL3Z13A409H] : F150, LHD, Crew Cab, Tail lamps - Level 3, Less Lighting Packages, Dearborn Plant Build, Less Mass Movement Sensor, Power Inverter #4
Using that logic, it should be one of the following for us....

I am curious about these following for two reasons... #1 do open/close tailgates have lighting packages? and #2 if we want to add power close to our tailgates in the future is this the route to go now? ?‍♂

If anyone is looking for a RL3Z-13A409-J harness I have a new one available. Can’t return it, so if someone needs it let me know. Thanks!!

I ran into the same issues on my 24 502a lariat with the rear led light connectors being gray and not fitting the j harness. Has anyone been able to try a P or N harness yet to confirm it it works?

i saw that on the N and P harness, onboard scales. the N build notes looked very similar to P with the power invertor number being different. I wasnt sure if anyone that has the gray led lights had tried either N or P yet to see if they worked.

All, I have the same build as SquigglyBrace and I just replaced my "H" (EBD) harness with a "P" (EDE) harness and everything is working perfect and all the pins matched up great. The new

On a side note if anyone wants a brand new "K" or a used "H" that I added the pins, ground and plugs for working bed lights I will gladly ship them to you.

My 501a Lariat has the EAD factory harness which has the grayish plugs and when I look it up it also says onboard scales, which I don’t have in features but I do have all 4 corner sensors and the VDM module. So I believe the N harness is the one I need but of course they are on backorder..

I'm in the same situation as you, 2024 F150 Lariat 3.5EB 501A less onboard scales/smart hitch. I ordered the "J" harness and it had the black taillight connectors, where I need the gray connectors. I went back to the dealership and they told me that the "EAD" harness is the "L" harness. We determined the "N" harness description matched the "L" harness with the addition of "Lighting Package Level A". I have the "N" harness on order and should have it early next week. I'm fortunate that the dealership will allow me to exchange the "J" harness without a restocking fee.

Summary:
RL3Z13A409L = EAD 12/18/2023, F150, LHD, Crew Cab, Tail lamps - Level 3, Less Lighting Packages, Dearborn Plant Build, Power Inverter #1, On Board Scale

RL3Z13A409N = ECE 12/18/2023, F150, LHD, Crew Cab, Lighting Package Level A, Tail lamps - Level 3, Dearborn Plant Build, Power Inverter #1, On Board Scale

@kartindick is it too much to ask for you to take a photo of the plugs for the taillights? i would like to see if your taillights and harness plug would match up with mine
