He @ArmySooner405 - my car switched to CSX in Chicago - as expected... but now the voice prompt systems says the car has been "received at interchange Gibson IN" - does received mean - the rail car is no longer part of the train - and the the contents (i.e. my truck) have been unloaded onto a truck?
That would make some sense given my sticker says "convoy" which is supposed to be by truck - not rail...
It’s hard to tell if it’s received at a rail interchange, or an offload site where they load them onto trucks. Usually the rail cars will travel closer to the final destination to a more local unload yard to be staged for semis to load them up for transport to dealerships.

I wish it was optional...
Well things are on the move again. So I dunno why that message said it was received sounding different thank other stops. But it’s less than 6 hours away by car!

Not sure if you've figured a way yet, but I work for CSX so I can use my access to other tools if needed!

Thanks @skwrtle - I used the CSX phone line and that worked until it got unloaded in Lordstown OH and now I just have to wait!

@skwrtle - Need some help from this thread to see if my intuition is correct, or if I should just be patient.

My truck left KC on rail car TTGX973932 on March 9. I arrive in Rivergate yard Portland, OR sometime between then and March 22. It was offloaded and put on ramp RA4K. The rail car continued to Mira Loma, CA and was release by customer on March 23. As of this morning, it is still on ramp RA4K.

My truck is supposed to come to Texas, and according to my dealer, either to Mesquite or Houston to be offloaded and convoyed the rest of the way.

Is it normal to go that far out of the way, and then be offloaded? I feel like a mistake has been made and it was shipped to the wrong place and now it will sit there until someone realizes that it missed its estimated delivery of April 5.

Can anyone assist or provide insight? Should I call the railyard? Should I have my dealer call? Should I just wait patiently?

Call Touch Trace(1-800-235-2352) and then pick option 1 for railcar information, then follow the prompts, It’ll ask you to speak the railcar initials (letters only) or enter them on the keypad and then the numbers. Next say “done”, and the system will look-up and report the latest location information it has for the railcar.

If a live person picks up, hang up(you are not authorized to use it). your key pad letters are entered like this 3-2, 7-4, 7-4, 9-2 for ESSX E-is the second letter, so it has a 2 after it, S is the 4th letter on the number keypad, and X is the 2nd letter on 9 You will need to enter the carrier first.

Here are terms you might hear!
Departure - Railcar has departed the city listed enroute to next big city along the way.
Arrive In Transit - railcar has arrived city listed
Junction Recieved - railcar has arrived at a junction to be handed off to the next railroad to haul it
Hold or Delayed - self explanatory, could be many reasons. This is usually less than 24 hours
Release from Customer -railcar was released from customer (could be Ford or the receiver at the other end)
Placed Actual - railcar is actually placed at the location it will be unloaded
Bad order - railcar has a mechanical problem and needs repaired (usually less than 48 hour delay)
Bad Order Release - railcar has been repaired and is ready to move again
Arrive Destination - railcar has arrived at its current destination
Pulled from customer - railcar was pulled from the customer's location (Ford or receiver)
Placed Construct - railcar has arrived its final desination but there is not room to unload it yet (will move to placed actual when the room is available)
Storage - railcar has been emptied and is now being moved to storage

I'm almost positive my truck is going to be parked at Argentine for about a month longer - but I do have a railcar number - if anyone has access and wouldn't mind running the number for me on the BNSF site - I'd be super grateful!

Thanks in advance!

I'm wondering if you could provide a trace on this Railcar, TTGX941683. It had my 2022 F150 and it has been in limbo for 3 weeks.

Hi @skwrtl, I have a railcar number given to me by Ford Chat and by the dealer. I think they both look at the same visibility report, but it confirms that I'm using the right railcar number.
>> The Railcar is # NKCR008633 (Canadian National Railways )

When I call the CSX tracking number, it tells me the car is empty, released, and sitting in Richmond, CA, but Ford Chat and the dealer were able to track it to Blue Island, IL. It's supposed to be coming to Houston.

Any idea why the CSX phone tracking would be reporting what hopefully is incorrect info?

CSX
1. Call the CSX 1-800-235-2352
2. When prompted for location or weight, press "1" on your phone for location.
3. When prompted for the car initials, say CN (or whatever initials you have) then wait for the next prompt.
4. When prompted for the car number, say 907048 (or whatever your number is)
5. When prompted for next car say DONE.
6. That's it; enjoy your updated status report.
Says railcar is empty, released by customer, and in Richmond, California.
