I've been looking but seems there is alot of fake ads and stuff out there. I've even gone to the extent of joining facebook groups but they are infested with fake profiles and scammers its crazy

if all else fails ask the dealer who they use
we have a GM truck dealer in tyler that will ship your truck anywhere in the states, its part of thier service at a cost i am sure

My dealer don't offer that service i asked and they don't even recommend anyone lol

I was definitely nervous too, but they did move my car without any problems. Price was really good.

you are in San Antonio correct? has to be many logistics companies around there to guide or provide a service. i bet either way its not going to be cheap. might be less to fly up and drive back.

When I first ordered the truck from Granger I explored transport. I emailed with one company and was quoted $1100 for open transport and $1800 for closed transport from Iowa to Virginia 1100 miles.

Now I considered that I will have to fly out there anyway to inspect the truck, sign the paperwork, and be there when they pick up the truck, so airfare is a moot point. In fact it will cost more in my case as I need round trip and not one way. The transport cost would only be in place of a couple nights at a hotel and a couple days of travel.

I spent $45 on a 100' x 6" roll of track armor and will drive it home and spend that money toward a nice PPF job, or a cat plate and undercoating, or toward a Diamondback, etc. Lots of other things to spend the money on. Give up a couple of days of your life (if you can) for an easy paced drive and you will save some change.

I used Montway to pick up my truck last year from Granger and bring it to me here in Vegas.

Note that Montway and most other companies like Montway are transport brokers, they do not do the actual shipping, they are basically a middleman if you will. You will find that most of the auto transport companies only deal with brokers not directly with you.

With that being said I had a great experience with Montway and the transport company they hired. They picked up my truck on a Wednesday some time between 3 & 6 pm and he pulled up in front of my house on Friday about 2:30 that afternoon. Enclosed transport was just under $1,700

For what it's worth my entire purchase process was almost entirely online via emails, a phone call or 3 and overnight of paperwork. Same with Montway although the only paperwork I had to personally sign was what the delivery guy had me sign.

I've used Sherpa a few times and have not had any issues whatsoever. The great thing about them is they give you a price that is locked in. If they can't find a transport to pickup your vehicle with their timeframe (typically 5 days), they will take money from their profit to give to the driver. Your price never goes up.

Not sure if you're still looking for a shipper or not, but I'd recommend A-1 Auto Transport, Inc. Used them a couple times over the years for long distance transport and never had an issue. Typically on the more affordable side too.

I used Fidelity Auto Transport to ship my parent's car from Moline, IL to Las Vegas, NV in an open car transport. Send [email protected] an email (or look them up?). The transport driver was super-professional. He texted me when they arrived at a Walmart parking lot and waited patiently for my parents to show up with the car. He texted me to arrange for my brother to meet him somewhere in Summerlin, again a big parking lot. It cost about $925 (they took $175 up front). This was back in late 2019. I would assume its a bit pricier now.
