I am looking to purchase this truck. Dealer said there is a hold. Javier was able to confirm. Anyone have any ideas? This truck did have the heated steering wheel delete.

It happens all the time with all manufacturers. It's not a big deal. We had a recent issue with a bolt associated with the oil cooler of full-size Range Rovers with the V8 engine needed to be replaced and the factory put a stop-sale on them. The bolts were on back-order, and we found out that the same exact bolt was available through Ford. We ordered all the bolts we could from a bunch of Ford dealers to be able to replace the bolt and sell our cars. They will get the part, replace it and eventually the stop-sale will be lifted.

If you like the truck then get the truck. A pending repair shouldn't stop you if you are really interested in it. Dealer will fix it then it will be sold.

They can’t sell it until it is replaced! Between all the heated steering wheel deletes and now this I can’t find a F 150 that meets my needs. Really disappointed as I need a new truck within the next couple of weeks. Hate to say it but probably going to have to go back with a Ram.

Ah, well if you are in a rush then it will make someone else a nice truck. Sucks that you don't have time to wait but I know we all gotta drive something. I would search more for a Ford without a waiting period on it. Granger usually has plenty of inventory all year if you can make that drive.
