Anybody else get a recall notice today?

I received a voice mail a few weeks back. "This is Mike with Ford and I deal with open recalls". He wants to come to my house to complete my recall in my driveway. Which sounds great since I'd rather not leave my truck at a dealer. (I do have the wiper motor and e-brake cable recalls open) But he never mentioned a dealer name so I figured scam and didn't call. Scam?

The PCM flash is a perfect use case of the mobile service. Anyone that needs to get this checked off even after receiving the OTA, having them come to you is great. We have this service in my area.

Did that one via mobile. Was under the impression couldn't be done OTA.

Well I went in for regular oil and tire rotation, spoke with the service person about the txt and e-mail about the Recall notice, turns out it is about the Cat Converts AGAIN! (already on 4 new ones)
Well they want to change both of them again!
Said they have seen a rash of this going on now, something about not passing emissions test so now waiting after he ordered 2 new ones. All under warrenty thank goodness!

Got this recall done today.

Service writer said if your cats are bad, there should be a light on the dash.

They did reprogram the PCM though. Took about 1.5hrs. and the notes said they put it on a battery tender while doing so.

Truck seems fine. Maybe a little harsher shift than normal but too close to say for sure.
