I had my truck into the dealer last week to diagnose 2 noises. They had it for a couple of days and were unable to find the source of one noise and I was told the other is normal and "characteristic of the vehicle".
I was driving this weekend and noticed that the truck downshifted to 9th a couple of times on a long uphill on an interstate (I89 in NH for those familiar) which is not something I remember it ever doing. And the high RPM rev sometimes when shifting from 1st to third seems to have returned. So I'm wondering if they reset the adaptive shift strategy for some reason. RO doesn't mention it. The other thing I noticed was that my dash lights were on full high, which is something that happened after the last OTA I got.
Is there any way to tell if the dealer reset the adaptive shift strategy and didn't tell me?
