Has anyone replaced the antenna mount? The one under the plastic/rubber cowl.

The story... The car wash I frequent had an issue (stupid people) and the conveyor stopped, but not the brushes. When it stopped, the back of the truck was in the spinning brushes and the front stopped where the brushes go left to right. The main mechanism was right above my antenna and bent the mount.

i kept the factory unit after trying other units. i stop and take off the factory before i go down the washer.. and i don't do that wash maybe 3 times a year either.

Nah, they're fine for one, two, or three washes during the harsh winter months. Plus the fact that newer ones (at least in my area) are Hybrid, and use some fluffy-looking rollers thingamabobers.

No stubbies or antenna deletes for me. Now an old timer telescopic stainless steel unit I might do!
