Spent a long Memorial Day Weekend with friends down in southwest Virginia. No electricity for all of us RV'ers, so generators were in order. All I needed to do was plug the TT's shore power cord into the truck. Spent 91 hours hooked up. virtually no heavy electrical draws for me.
I stopped and filled up with gas at a convenience store 12.5 miles from where we were staying. I filled up at the same store on the way home. Used 9.462 gallons over 91 hours.
Strictly towing from Richmond, VA to Stuart, VA I got a hand calculated 10.49 mpg.
My truck is an XLT PB, 4x4, SuperCrew w/ 6.5' box. 1645# CC. I pull a Coachmen Freedom Express 20SE, GVWR of 6,000# and 24.5' long, with no slides.
