Looking for input on tunes/tuners. I have an SCT x4 from Palm Beach with a Palm Beach tune for my 2022 5.0. I’m having issues when the tune is on the truck. Sometimes randomly it idles rough, like it’s certainly got multiple misses. Sometimes when I’m driving regularly down the road I hear what sounds like detonation/pinging. I have been running 93 only for months. This also does not happen regularly and I have zero issues ever with the stock tune. I contacted Palm Beach and they said I need to data log so they could troubleshoot. I just don’t have the time to data log to possibly go back and forth to test different things. If I had time and they were local with a Dyno, I would certainly do that.
So, I’m looking at either ordering the Omega tune to use the SCT tuner I already have or going with Livernois tuner and tune. I used the Omega on my 2013 5.0 and it was really good. Oz recently released the Omega tune so I’m concerned about it being super new. I know a lot of people are happy with the Livernois tuner/tune however I don’t see Dyno numbers on their website. Oz Tuning posted their dyno numbers for the 22 5.0.
Is anyone here running the Omega tune yet? I wish I could see numbers for both to see what Livernois is getting out of the new Coyote.
