I don't know if that's true about the widget. I have the AIBox as well and also purchased the carluex pro. After an update a few days ago, the carluex will do full screen, especially after I'm using wireless carplay in fullscreen.

I never tried the Carluex but you have my attention!

There's a few of us wanting to get the fullscreen back. Could you please provide us with the following:

You're using the Carluex Pro?

Current Sync Version?

Current Power up Version?

Android or iPhone?

Here's an odd one. Maybe you guys have seen this before. So I started my truck a couple of days ago and switched from Android Auto over to my Carplay box under Phones. Immediately I noticed the audio was very tinny and seemed to be only coming from the front speakers, so it seemed. Went to adjust the audio settings only to discover they were grayed out on the Sync interface. Vehicle and Sound icons are both grayed out. This prevents me from even accessing the audio controls. Checked my Sync and PowerUp versions, 713 and 4.2.2.2, the same as they were when everything was working fine. Tried turning the Sync power off/on, no change.

Anyone else seeing similar or have suggestions for a solution?

The icons may not look grayed out in the photos, I assure you they are though.

With the android box I mean. Your factory carplay and andriod will but the box will not work in full screen anymore.

Yes, the update killed the fullscreen for me. Was really hoping the elibb98 would respond with his current versions to confirm the Carluex Pro was in fact achieving fullscreen using the older Sync and PowerUp versions and not the current.

As for my box having audio issues, I actually updated my previous post with the following:

I would be curious also to see what update and version he is on. I will be very surprised if he is past 4.2.2.2 and it still working. I have bought so many different brands it’s crazy. Just sticking to my Naviks until someone can confirm they work with latest updates . I like the idea of not having to switch inputs and loose normal screen functionality with Naviks.

Hey ya'll sorry for the delay. The android box I have is the Carluex Pro. It works full screen only after using wireless Apple Carplay. Here's my SYNC version and Power Up. The downside to the Carluex is it’s more money and not nearly as responsive as the AiBox.

Thank you sir! This is good to know and promising. Bummer about the responsiveness. Wish they had a 8G Ram+128G storage version, no doubt that would help.

As mentioned in my previous post I've been having major audio issues with my Carlinkit TBox Plus. Their customer service sent over a full firmware update, it took about 5 min to update. Had high hopes but it was a disappointment unfortunately. The audio quality is still very bad. It went from sounding fantastic from day one to all the audio in the front speakers only and sounding very tinny. After the full firmware update, now the audio is in all speakers but there's no bass and it sounds like the internal gain of the box is so high it's causing distortion in all the channels. When I flip over and play the same song through the same app (YouTube Music) on Android Auto, it's night and day. Sound quality is so much better through Android Auto. I'll do a factory reset and see what happens. Will need to do it anyway before I process the return. Will keep ya updated.

Weird! Maybe the audio issue is a Carplay issue then?? Check out this thread I just came across. Was thinking maybe it's a 23 thing from this thread, but if you're having issues with 22, who knows? Guessing it's not an Unleashed-specific issue either then, ugh!

Ttied factory resetting my Carlinkit TBox Plus, still issues with the audio. It goes back tomorrow. Bought through Amazon so free returns.

Just placed my order for Carluex Pro Wireless. @elibb98 had success achieving fullscreen with the same Sync and PowerUp versions I currently have in my truck. Used link they sent and it's $329 free shipping. Per their policy on website, I'll be paying return shipping if that happens. That link saved me $30 so I'll tell myself that helps ? Android 12 4GB Ram/64GB Rom

Apparently, MagicBox has a 2.0 out. Asking $369 but it's specs are not great. Android 10, 4 Ram/8 Rom. Haven't tried it though.

Thanks for the update. I recently bought the Carlink Max new version hoping it would work, but was unable to achieve full screen. I am thinking of pulling the trigger on the Carluex Pro myself to see if it will work. I have the same versions downloaded as well and have turned off auto updates to help prevent something that may work from getting bricked.
