Anderson Plug Anyone?

Old truck (06 F250 6.0L - 2 Batteries) was fitted with Anderson plug to charge camper Batts while driving. Have yet to migrate to new truck (25 King Ranch 3.5 Ecoboost) - wondering if:
1. Alternator has enough capacity and
2. Will it interfere with any of the myriad other electrical systems on the truck.

As long as you install the Anderson Powerpole by connecting to the battery + terminal and the chassis ground (not the negative battery terminal) it will 'play nice' with your Gen 14 F150's charging system.

You'll of course need to be attentive to proper cable ampacity to and beyond the Powerpole plug.

I suggest (urge) that you do the popular upgrade to the drop-in-fit H8 battery for your non-PB F150 as part of the addition for best overall system performance. Be sure to reset the battery sensor if you install a new battery per the instructions in your owner's manual. This is from the 2022 owners manual, may or may not be the same procedure for your 2025 ...
