American flag trim, small thing

I know it’s a stupid small thing but my passenger side American flag trim is misaligned. I’ve heard this is a common problem. Someone on the forum suggested you just push it in to straighten it but I tried and couldn’t get it to move. Does anyone know how to fix this, or how it comes off? If I can take it off I can probably figure out how to get it back on better.

Is it stuck on? Heat gun realign let cool should be stuck still?

It’s the trim piece that the flag sits on that is misaligned. So I need to realign the trim piece.
