Missing Interior Trim Piece?

I took delivery of my 2022 Platinum a few weeks ago. While I was sitting in the passenger seat yesterday letting the wife drive some I noticed this wire on the rear view mirror. I get its for the auto dimming feature, it just looks a bit unfished like it should be covered /w a trim piece. I believe my 2015 did have a plastic cover over it.

Can anyone else /w either a platinum or the auto dimming mirror confirm that their trucks have a trim piece to cover this or is this just the way the 2022's are?

my 22 kr looks the same and i have a small rosary hanging from that wire with a small pic of my grand child. the loom protector looks just like yours.
not a good pic but you can see no extra covers
my 16 expedition was very similar

Lazy Ford, $65k+ trucks and we cant put a trim piece over exposed wires.

this is from my expedition, it has nothing to do except you can see the rosary and the song playing, what you cant see is the speed which was 78 mph . the irony of the song and the rosary swinging back is funny
