Air vent trim flag Easter egg

Has anyone replaced or modified the American flag "Easter egg" with an aftermarket one or maybe the Raptor one? I'd love to replace or anodize mine red or blue like the one in the Raptor.

Generic reference to hidden / obscured content or item, typically associated with software related things like games, sites, apps. Also in movies with background item or reference.

Not the best characterization for the trim flags imo since they are right there, but maybe not everyone notices them right away?

Me too! Before I bought my truck, I noticed it in my walk around. I wondered if it was on purpose or Ford putting something there to take up space.... what ever the case, it looks like old glory to me! When I look out my RH side view mirror I can see the reflection in the door window...

My catch is I have a Platinum and don't want to change the trim to Raptor trim across the entire dash and console. I would much rather be able to just replace the flag or anodize it to match the Raptor flag.

I have not looked closely enough to know but I think they are plastic welded to the trim.

I've been watching that piece on ebay as well. LOL
Hope it's an easy thing to do.

Can’t wait to see the results! I think the flag is plastic welded to the trim. Are you going to replace with all raptor trim?
