Air Design Fender Vents

has anyone installed these ford fender vents? not sure if i like they way they look or not. link is below for the photo of the vents, thanks

yeah you are probably right and kinda expensive for what they are. was just looking at fender vent options online. probably will keep the stock ones.

Yes, one downside is they use 3M VHB adhesive and don't 'click in'. The factory use some push tabs and VHB. They also need to be aligned to not interfere w/ the door.

Here's mine when I painted them Agate. If you have a BAP theme, it'd be equally easy to krylon them black. I ran out of 2k clear on the final coat and thought another rattle can clear would be good-nuff and it completely ruined the paint scrunching it up on one of them, and it happened right before I moved my office and just haven't had time to get back to them. Still needs another hour of sanding to rectify hoping to try and save the original paint as I'm out of it as well. I'm OCD and sanding with a popsicle stick is time consuming. That little error was a solid gutpunch.

I removed the screens and painted them the same color I have for my calipers, not quite ford performance red, but close enough.

Are the factory vents easy to remove??

Yes they just pull off . It sounds horrible. i just used my hands. Maybe put a little paintres tap around edge for some scratch protection.

as is one of mine from shitty clear wrinkling it. Might just be cheaper to buy another set and paint them vs sanding the crinkle
