So it seems during a long trip with weight in the bed I get these two APIM errors.
C1001-54 and C1001-78.
I have had numerous camera issues in the past that I can't mention.
Now it's happening again.
Took a trip to Vegas from TX and put 300 lbs or so in the bed.
Ok on the way there but by Arizona I got these two errors.
It cost me over $600 to get it fixed last time and the "claimed" the camera had been unplugged.
I can guarantee that I did no such thing lol.
Now the same two codes with two non persistent DTC of B12-B8 and B1600-11, both non current.
I am tired of taking trips with a trailer or with a load and these pop up.
This time it said something about adaptive cruise not available switching to manual. But manual cruise didn't work either.
What can I do to avoid this error?
It happens at the worst possible times when adaptive cruise, lane keeping, emergency braking, regular cruise are all desired!
Almost always carrying weight or a trailer but not always.

edited for spelling LOL

If I clear the DTC and it goes away that's great. But I still don't know what keeps causing it?

If the codes come back, it is probably being caused by the camera alignment being out of spec and you will need to run the IPMA camera alignment procedure as indicated by Pinpoint Test S.
