After market alarm

I there a way to make an after market alarm or buy one that will function from the factory fob/key? I would like to add an after market alarm but I do not want to carry 2 fobs.

Yes that is what I was looking for just not interested in paying that for a alarm that is only really worth $50.

I had the ford alarm on my last truck. Had a shock sensor, door alarm, remote start, and double chirped when the alarm had been set off. All worked pretty good for an alarm.

Still didn’t keep my truck from being broken into at sea world and tossed. People just don’t pay attention to the alarms. I think you need to have the expectation on what you want in the end. The ford system was fine around my house and I could hear it go off. In public no one gave a crap about another car alarm going off.

And, if you are an alarm expert saying said alarm
Is worth $50, why are you in here asking for alarm advice from random people???

I am an electronics expert and the sum of the parts are far less than $50. And you are right out In public no one cares, I am more interested in taking a shot at someone when at home.
