Hey everyone — I’ve been hearing what sounds like water in a jug knocking (in fact I thought miraculously I could hear my water jug knocking in my bed with all the windows closed). It happens when I come to a stop or hit a good sized bump or really anytime the truck rocks.

Well, I just isolated the noise to the rear pillar, drivers side (the back most pillar corner pillar).
When I rock my truck, say at a standstill, it sounds like water bouncing back and forth in a jug. Strange I know — I imagine it’s just a loose wire fastener or something like that. I don’t know else would be in there that would make such a noise.

Anyway, wondering how to access in the pillar or at least behind the plastic trim piece.

thanks!

Are you sure that it is not fuel in your tank?

Just replace the amplifier and door speakers and those small noises disappear! I don't even hear my backup beeping anymore.

Hi Dylan! I can look into your F-150's noise concern on my end. To get started, could you please send a private message over with the name/location of your local Ford dealer and your F-150’s VIN?

Welp, I’m an idiot — the noise was from the clip on the end of the strap for my roll-up tonneau. LOL. ??‍♂
