Out for a drive tonight with sun blaring though the windsheild so I went to turn up the fan speed. Fan speed was already on 4, but blowing like it was on 1. Pulled in to my destination and cranked it up to 7. Air was cold, but not blowing hard at all. Cycled the truck off, and turned it back on. No change.

I was picking up my son so I sat waiting for about ten minutes with fan speed on 5. But again, felt like 1. After about 5-8 minutes fan started picking up speed again and returned to normal. Anyone experience this?

I searched, but most threads discussed hot air coming from vents, coupled with a few for low fan speed.

Exact same thing happened with my 2021 Raptor - brought truck directly to Planet Ford here in Dallas. Been there over a week.

I'm sure your intentions are good, but I've been down this route with you guys and I never heard from anyone. On top of that, when I gave the case number to my dealer, they said they didn't have time to look at it.

Now, if you could find me a master window switch so that I have operating windows again, that'd be great.

Would you mind letting me know what they discover on yours please.

I have a window switch but non power folding mirrors if you want until you can find one

If you send me your vin I can see if you have any DTCs regarding your HVAC system so you have an idea of any issue there may be.

I agree, the HVAC is somewhat random in operation.

Hey Jesse,

I greatly appreciate the offer! And I might take you up on it if you still have it in a few weeks.

I'll PM you my VIN.

Thanks again for your help!

I’m assuming your entire dash has to come out for that to be done? I think I remember someone here saying that.

Yes. Entire dash comes out. I posted it in a thread I think. It sounds very similar to your issue. They have to replace the whole ac box. Ridiculous design. The tsb covers all the way back to 2015 f150 I believe

Same issue is happening with my ‘22. Fan Speed and Air direction (defrost/face/feet) have stopped responding for a while during trips. Indicators on the screen all do what there supposed to but it’s like they are disconnected from the equipment.

Hi there. This A/C concern doesn’t sound like something we want you to experience with your F-150. Could you please send us a PM with your VIN and the name and location of your Ford dealer? I'd be happy to look into how I can assist you on my end.

I just noticed the same issue with my 22 Lariat Powerboost. It was a warm day and I turned my auto fan speed from 1 to 3, but felt no change. Went to manual fan speed and cranked it up as high as I could and could hear it, but felt no change. It was only blowing out of the defrost locations. Once I went into the option on the screen to manually change it to just blow out the dash vents that worked. Switched back to auto climate and only came out of defrost vents. This has happened a handful of times so it’s going to be a pain for the dealer to correct this if they can’t duplicate it.

3 months in, my tremor is in the shop for this reason. Noticed some frozen lines under the hood as well.

Noticed the same issues today on my 21 king ranch. Reminds me a lot of when my first truck (92 Silverado single cab stepside, damn I miss that truck) would freeze up due to a Freon leak. Anyhow only way I can increase airflow at all is to hit max A/C button. I’m used to the fan blowing full speed when the truck is hot and I first start it up. Would be curious to hear any follow up’s from the original posters on this thread.
Headed in to the dealer to replace the dumbass felt skid plate thing (how anyone thought that’d be a good idea is beyond me) next week and will bring this to their attention as well. Have never had a brand new vehicle with so many issues as this damn truck.
