8" to 12" upgrade issues/questions

I have a 2024 F350 that I upgraded from an 8" to 12" screen via fordsync4.com; this version retains 8" APIM. Like many others, I hooked it up per the instructions and got the black screen. The difference for me is that if I remove the negative battery cable and place it back, the screen will work, but as soon as I turn the truck off and restart it, the screen will be back to black. Like others, the screen is black, but I can still play music through the radio. When I looked into a scan on my truck, I saw an APIM error "B108E". Any suggestions or thoughts? I realize I may have to just purchase a 12" APIM; if so, does anyone know which ones are compatible with a 2024 F350? Thanks guys!
