8/8/2022 Build Week

Still no modules populated. The only thing I have is a production date on the tracker of 8/12 and the activate button on the FordPass app. I did notice on the OrderTrack website that it says "time in status." Does anyone know how accurate that time is? It says I have another 12 hours or so. I'm hoping tomorrow is a big day of updates.

I don’t think that it’s really accurate. I do hope tomorrow we get more movement. I hope you get some modules tomorrow. I haven’t heard from anyone from the Friday build day. Also @Jethro was today. We will see what happens. Good luck?

Blend date was yesterday (8/14) just awaiting modules now. It has been hard hearing updates from those whose trucks were built earlier in the week...I guess I needed to be in the 8/15 build week so I could be the first instead of the last...lol. Good luck everyone. Hoping we get some trucks moving this week!

Mine is still listed on the Ford Tracker as "In production" with a date of 8/9/2022 (last Tuesday). I think that it's still missing some modules before they will move it to "built".

Yeah it seems like chat will tell you something different everytime although everytime they've said showing no chip hold. Going to see what my dealership says this morning.

Haven't been happy with them this whole process. Only reached out one time since February just to say delete wheel well liners.

Anyone certain every model gets 720 modules? Seen people with xlt say they have them.

I've never tried Ford Chat, so I can't speak to their value. I suspect that they're mostly entry-level marketing folks, so I wouldn't necessarily trust them to know specific details of the Ford vehicles options or manufacturing processes. Any more than I would trust the accuracy of any detailed information that I would get from any dealer salesperson.

According to the FORSCAN module mapping spreadsheet, module 720 is related to the Instrument Panel Cluster, so I would suspect that all vehicles need that one. Some models may not need certain 720 sub-modules, however.

(And it's not clear to me that all modules even use chips, so you may get an inaccurate answer from Ford Chat if you specifically ask about "chip holds" if, for example, the problem is that the passenger door window motors haven't yet been delivered)

Just spoke with Ford customer service. He explained it to me as I'm showing produced. Not showing any holds or parts missing. It will show built I guess when shipping is lined up. Then show built and ship email when it ships.

Still reaching out to dealer also just to have a convo with them.

I reached out to Ford chat and this is the status update I got. They weren't helpful when I asked about blend date.

When an order is "In Production," it is being manufactured at one of our factories. The estimated time of complete production is August 22-28, 2022. Got a tear tag this morning but still don’t have 720 module. Still don’t know what that means but it’s movement

Spoke to ford chat and looks like im still waiting for my truck to be shipped. Im about to drive to dearborn to go pick it up at this point ?

I have 24 modules that start with 720 and I have been in production since 7.12.22
