Okay - BIG week! First, though, I've got to ask these questions.

1. Spray-in bed liner. Should I let the dealer do this? Do I need to be looking at different types/brands/etc?
I plan on doing that with a local shop after the fact. Line-x is a good brand. Find a company that will offer lifetime warranty. On my previous truck I think I paid between 300-400 and it came with lifetime warranty.

2. Dash cam - I am tired of the hit & runs, liars, etc. Thinking of getting one installed. Do yall rock one or na? If yes, any recs? Never had one
I haven't ever had one but wouldn't be a bad idea to look into it.

3. Bed cover - what's yalls stance on those? I like the idea of securing the bed AND keeping my kids out of it!
I plan on getting a Bakflip MX4 cover (or something similar) again. Last time I got lucky and a guy with a raptor was selling his and it was like new for ~$400 from craigslist. Check that and fb to see if anyone is parting ways with theirs. Sometimes you get lucky and won't need to shell out $800+.

4. What tires you do you plan to rock on your new truck?
Planning on using the stock tires until they're worn out unless they ride terrible.
Hope this helps!

1. I am doing the spray in liner through my dealer and i believe its a line-x product. I think its cheaper than the ford spray in.

2. I have been thinking the same so if you find anything let me know!

3. Absolutely, a nice roll up tonneau is amazing. I rocked a tyger soft roll on my 2020 f150 and loved it. Tri folds are okay, but i dont like losing bed space or having to block majority of my back glass.

4. Once the stock tires wear off im thinking some 33x12.5 nitto ridge grapplers with a set of fuel rebel rims. I already have a 2" leveling kit (2.5" levels a little more but i want a slight rake for towing the horses)

1. I’m planning on going with a bedrug. Payload (for towing) is important for me, and I like the option of being able to remove the bed-related gear when I need the weight capacity.
2. No suggestions. I’ve never had a dash cam, but I’m interested in hearing about the feedback that you receive.
3. I’m planning on ordering a rolling cover of some sort, but haven’t narrowed it down yet. Probably something that will work with a kayak rack. Also removable (again, payload is a concern for the times that I’m towing.
4. Stock wheels/tires for me, at least for the time being.

1. Why would you let the dealer do it if you can pay the same price for a better quality with the lifetime warranty at line x.

2. Also never had one but I guess you can’t go wrong with installing a dash cam. Don’t know any good brands.

3. I personally like rolling hard covers such as X4S

4. Stock. I’d rather spend my $ elsewhere as I don’t off road and spending money in extra gas and new set of wheels just for the look seems a little silly to me. I would at least wait until the stock tires are worn out if I really wanted to get something else.

Just my 2 cents

@869 and other in regard to a dash cam.

The picture below is the setup I am going with. I never had a dash cam but I always liked the thought of having one. Mostly I was never impressed wtih the video but that is changing for the better.

The unit below is an entry level cam that gets high grades even though it is a older unit. It is single vision so you just get forward vid but this makes for simplicity. I picked this up on Prime Day for $80 and the GPS which acts like a dock was another $20. If you have auto dimming mirrors you can use that Dongar Tech attachment to power the cam with no wires hanging or the need to "route" wires through the dash and headboard. You do not get parking mode unless you hard wire it but that is fine for me. It just works when I drive.

This will give me a cheaper introduction to Dash Cams and I will see what I like and what I miss. You can spend $500 for a wonderful Thinkware X1000 but I may not need that much. This intro to dash cams will let me know if I want to take a deeper plunge or not.

1. Spray-in bed liner. Should I let the dealer do this? Do I need to be looking at different types/brands/etc?
Ordered mine with a spray-in bed liner this time. My last truck came off the lot and didn't have one in it so the dealership had the Line-X shop next door spray it in before I ever picked up the truck (that dealership sends all their work next door, they don't spray them in themselves).

2. Dash cam - I am tired of the hit & runs, liars, etc. Thinking of getting one installed. Do yall rock one or na? If yes, any recs? Never had one
Never looked at them before so no recs from me.

3. Bed cover - what's yalls stance on those? I like the idea of securing the bed AND keeping my kids out of it!
Current truck has the Undercover Armor Flex tri-fold cover on it, which I've been pretty happy with. I'll probably look around at what options are out there, but may go back to the same cover (may even take that cover off my current truck before selling it, that's still TBD).

4. What tires you do you plan to rock on your new truck?
Will keep stock on there until they need to be changed. Then will probably go with the Goodyear Wrangler Ultraterrain AT from Discount Tire. I've had them on my current truck for the last 19 months and have been happy with them. I considered Ridge Grapplers, but the Ultraterrain AT was ~$300 less for the set and I didn't like the Ridge Grapplers enough to pay that much more for them.

1. Spray-in bed liner. Should I let the dealer do this? Do I need to be looking at different types/brands/etc?
So I’m doing a bed mat so that I can take it out when towing for more payload.
2. Dash cam - I am tired of the hit & runs, liars, etc. Thinking of getting one installed. Do yall rock one or na? If yes, any recs? Never had one
Haven’t really looked at any but would definitely consider it if anyone gets a good one.
3. Bed cover - what's yalls stance on those? I like the idea of securing the bed AND keeping my kids out of it!
I’m in construction so I will have a tool box and can’t do a cover.
4. What tires you do you plan to rock on your new truck?
I have nitto grapplers on my 2013 but will wear out the factories and then probably go with Michelin LT tires for less tire flex when towing

Okay - BIG week! First, though, I've got to ask these questions.

1. Spray-in bed liner. Should I let the dealer do this? Do I need to be looking at different types/brands/etc? I ordered the factory bed liner. Someone once told me the aftermarket spray-in liners they sand the heck out of the paint to get the liner material to adhere. I figure getting it done at the factory "might" be better when made during the production process.

2. Dash cam - I am tired of the hit & runs, liars, etc. Thinking of getting one installed. Do yall rock one or na? If yes, any recs? Never had one. Given how society is becoming less and less accountable, I may need to invest at some point.

3. Bed cover - what's yalls stance on those? I like the idea of securing the bed AND keeping my kids out of it! I currently have a Truxedo roll up style and it has served me well, but I would never get that brand again. It's as if they made it a few inches short with length and width. Plus it leaked bad and when I went to order the seal tape for the bulkhead they wouldn't cover it under their warranty. Anyway, I am looking for a hard top, roll up style now.

4. What tires you do you plan to rock on your new truck? I bought a second set of wheels and put the Cooper Discovery AT3 4S's on them. I wanted an On/off road tire that doesn't hum down the road. Normally I stick with Michelin LTX Defenders for ride, and fuel economy.

1. I haven't decided what I'm going to do. I might do a BedRug.

2. I should get one because people are horrible drivers especially in the Denver Metro Area and in the mountains.

3. I just ordered a RetraxPro XR cover from Realtruck.com. They offer a fantastic deal for the forum and I like to ability to put bikes on top of the bed when towing my trailer.

4. I'm keeping the wheels and tires for the winter and will decide what to put on next. I have used KO2's for a while and really like them.

Thank you - is that realtruck.com ? (no "s"). Also, how do you get the deal from them?

Guys - this input is awesome!

Sorry I edited the post. Yes it should be realtruck.com

Just hit the chat button and ask them for the f150gen14 forum price. I paid $1695 plus tax and free shipping.
