Our truck has been in the "awaiting shipment" status since July, and we recently found out its been sitting at a rail yard less than 2 hours from the dealership for the last 2 months. ugh its getting frustrating knowing its so close and just sitting there. Apparently its hard to find 18wheelers to make pickups over there.

By “2 hours from the dealership” I’m guessing you are at ramp 6P in KC? I only ask because mine was also built in Dearborn…on June 8. Then it finally shipped…on July 22. It has now been sitting at ramp 6P in KC “2 hours from the dealership” (Granger) for, yes you’re reading this correctly, 87 DAYS!

Ours was also built in Dearborn! Its weird because Ford Chat keeps saying its at Dearborn awaiting shipment, but our dealer told us its been at the CSX Cayce, South Carolina Railyard. Our dealer is in Spartanburg, SC.
I guess I shouldn't be complaining since you have waited since January!? We ordered ours in March. Hope we both get ours soon!

I'm actually in Charleston South of you. Flying to go grab my truck when it gets in. There was a post detailing how to call the railroad company for live updates. Is that how you tracke it to Cayce?

F$#k that! I can understand part shortages but this is absolutely unacceptable. I’ve been in transit for almost 2 weeks with zero movement (truck is still in Dearborn). If I don’t get it by Thanksgiving I’m out. Gotta draw the line somewhere

It sucks, but you’d be drawing the line pretty close to the goal posts…

I didn’t wait as long as some, but I waited 224 days. Totally worth it!

87 days!! ? Wow! We are sitting at 55 days in Ordertrack. So our dealer said its at the CSX Railyard in Cayce, South Carolina. Our dealer is in Spartanburg, SC. Looks like we are both in the same boat and just waiting in line for it to move.
Hopefully you see some movement soon!! Its beyond frustrating.
I read in another forum to email/call the Ford Execs... I did that on a daily basis and it didnt do anything! haha But really its out of their hands now and all dependent on a truck to go pick it up.

Hey Neighbor! We live in Myrtle beach, but chose the dealer in Spartanburg since they offer a free lifetime powertrain warranty.
So our dealer gave us the info (ford chat kept telling us its in Dearborn). I contacted the railroad company and they couldnt provide any updates since we don't have a railcar number. If you get a rail car number than they can usually track it for you!

I’ve been waiting 20 days now in built to go from Dearborn to Hines Park Ford in New Hudson, MI about 45 mins from the plant.

Mine was only at the Cayce yard for maybe 8 hours before moving to the final yard at Dixiana 6 miles away. That's where Hansen & Adkins auto transport and lot is. You can see it on Google maps.
