Hi All. I was hanging around in April waiting for my PB 502a to be built. I received it April 27, and it was stolen on August 12! So, back to the drawing board. Put a deposit on a PB 502a again that was a pre-order and is now in production. Hopefully won't have to waiting more than 4 weeks or so.

So my build date is tomorrow…..I live about 25 minutes from the Dearborn Plant and my dealer is 15 mins from the plant. How long do you think it takes to arrive?

It was legitimately stolen? You aren’t one of those people who think they have 300iq level by leaving the key fob ‘hidden’ inside the truck right?
The only other way I know they can do it without boosting the key signal is through the OBDII port. After I do my forscan sfuff I think I was going to get one of the over priced obd port locks. $180 usd

A guess but I also have a Bronco and someone on that forum got theirs the same day. I think they said the dealership was across the street from MAP?

Aw man. Well hopefully they work then. Like I said I was going to get one anyway just for peace of mind and I wanted to get one for my dads maverick.

I did see the theft in Canada is bad. They are really going against the Canadian stereotype.

Probably towed it. Can back up, and off woth truck in under 1 minute.

It’s my understanding that they can get in with the obd port without even boosting the key fob signal. I would imagine that’s how they have been stealing the trucks at the ford storage lots. I know the article says boost the signal then use the obd port but I’m pretty sure it’s one or the other. If you boost the signal you can open the door and hit the push start and go. Otherwise you break in and do the fake key program on the obd port.

So I’d say faraday box but still get the port lock since that seems pretty vital in the grand scheme of things.
