Is that a good number?Modules just pop’d. I got 990
I have no idea unfortunately. I guess its pretty decent for starters. But since I saw the shipped PB trucks have about 1800-ish modules I don't where or when the other 900 show up or what they are.Is that a good number?
Stupid question, where do you get these chip numbers? My 502A ordered in Jan had a blend date of 8/29 and now shows in production as of 8/30. Im not sure what number I should be looking at for chop count. I appreciate the help.I have no idea unfortunately. I guess its pretty decent for starters. But considering I know me and Kodiaks trucks are very similar for erxample and he has 997, give or take a few options then I'll take it as a win and say we are on par with where we should be I guess for right now.
Go here https://www.motorcraftservice.com/AsBuilt and put in your vin, then the list will show up on the bottom. Copy it and put it into a spread sheet. I thought I read somewhere that 706 is the instrument cluster. I may be wrong.Alright so.... I have nothing better to do with my time tonight so heres how I entertain myself. This truck is clearly very important to me and my emotions.
I plugged my module list (990 modules) and a very similar optioned 502a PB truck that was delivered (1813 modules) into a code comparison. As you can probably imagine it sucks to compare each line of code but I will say that he started to gain ALOT of module numbers on me at the #706 module. These modules read in order like 706-01-01 , 706-01-02 etc. This module in particular has 2 lines each like shown in my example until you get to around 706-19 and so forth.
Our modules match up to 706-23-xx and then mine jumps to 33, meanwhile the delivered truck steadily continues counting up without skipping a beat. 706-24-xx,706-25-xx etc.
What is a 706 module? I don't know! But I am missing alot of those in comparison for starters.
His 706 modules go up to 706-37-xx
Our 720 modules match however.
Did I do this for nothing? Most likely yes.
Was it entertaining? A little bit.
Am I still sad? yes
example of module comparison: Red is my truck, green is delivered truck

Instrument cluster is 720. I should know. I’m missing it?I thought I read somewhere that 706 is the instrument cluster. I may be wrong.
I believe 706 is CCD.I thought I read somewhere that 706 is the instrument cluster. I may be wrong.
Maybe part of it is. I don’t have CCD which I guess could explain why I’m missing 24-32 and 34-37 maybe. I’m not about to try to figure out ford though I am just going to wait lol I’ll be institutionalized trying to go through this list.I believe 706 is CCD.
Thanks for the explanation, looks like I have 997 total chips, of the 2,994 cells in those lines there are only 225 cells that are blank on the sheet. I’m assuming that is a good sign? Looking at the comparison above Chip 706 I only show 5 blank cells, chip 744 is my least filled in. Maybe I’m reading this incorrectly.Go here https://www.motorcraftservice.com/AsBuilt and put in your vin, then the list will show up on the bottom. Copy it and put it into a spread sheet. I have 101 lines of 744 modules. The overall amount of cells on the spread sheet shouldn't matter, you're just looking for the "rows" count which is your horizontal. Thanks for the explanation, looks like I have 997 total chips, of the 2,994 cells in those lines there are only 225 cells that are blank on the sheet.
