Kidding but I am all for it if it were the case.

If Ford wants to help people in the devestated areas of Louisiana then they don't need to send my truck to any random person. They could just deliver my truck to me here in LaPlace, Louisiana and provide me, the rightful owner of the vehicle, with some relief.

FINALLY got a VIN and a build date of 8/2 on my 5/14 order from my sales lady today. She's trying to get my order number and the dealer code from the manager so I can track it. Not sure why they can't be more forthcoming with this info...

I have experienced the same issue with my dealer and this is the 3rd truck I have purchased from them with this being the first truck ordered. It is like they are trying to hide something but I don't think they are able to get the information from the Ford Representative.

I placed my order on 4/9 and the build date was 7/29. The truck was parked and scheduled for pickup by Convoy on 8/10 according to the Ford Rep and delivery by 8/31. The truck is still showing to be in Dearborn with an ETA of 9/14 according to Ford tracking. My dealer could not get an update for me this week.

Believe me, I know firsthand we are in a difficult time because I am in the chemical business with petroleum based raw materials originating out of Texas and Louisiana. First, to get the raw materials manufactured with stable pricing, then to get them shipped to our facility, and scheduled for production and final QC. If I gave my Customers little to know information as I am receiving, I would lose a lot of our Customer base.

My perception....a classic case of "Who's on first"!

Thank you for your prayers. My immediate family was spared any significant damage. I can't say the same for many of our friends and neighbors. Louisianians are strong community based folks. Neighbors helping neighbors. We will get thru this. For my parish (county) the current ETA for power is 9/29. I'm hopeful Entergy is better with there ETA estimates than Ford.

Now all sites say it's been delivered. palsapp still shows "pending" w/null in the delivery location.

Yes it arrived and is getting picked up later this afternoon.
It had a ETA of 9/15-9/21 and arrived unannounced today.
So I’m thinking there is hope for others. Mine was a Dearborn build. Ordered 6/21, built 8/4, shipped 8/17, with 9/2 arrival. It also was a specific truck request so if I had to change to dealer stock they would not have had one.

I was able to pick it up Thursday. All seems well at this point. Looking forward to travels with our RV in tow.

It vary well could have been a couple days ago also. I don’t think the site is real time updated. Plus like I said I’m out of town and the WiFi is spotty at best. And my dealer isn’t exactly Johnny on the spot.

Same here, I've been borderline harassing my dealership and pf chat for updates lol mine was 15 days and tomorrow will have been 14

I happened to speak with Ford fleet order processing last Thursday checking on two vehicles my department has on order and asked if she could check on my personal truck, she confirmed it was on a chip hold at the plant... My truck was also built on 7/29 at the Dearborn plant with Vin8# MFC18000 My original DLR ETA was 8/22, then moved to 9/7 and now 9/14 keeping my fingers crossed for no more delays.
