Well I'm confused. I see a lot of you getting your dates moved back and chip hold finally showing up in your status. My ETA actually moved up today from 9/25 to 9/14. Have mixed feelings. My new truck sure would come in handy right now as I live in the powerless aftermath of Hurricane Ida but at the same time I don't think I'd want to drive it around in the current conditions with debri everywhere. Guess I'll try FP tomorrow and see if they have some more insight as to why the date change.

All 3 trackers are not working for me today. Null and errors are all I get. Yesterday it said that my eta was still today tho. But I don't see that happening because the dealer said they had not received notice of shipment on Tuesday. Good luck everyone else, I'm going to bed, and hoping something will be working whenever I wake up.

Well, there it is, guys. "Microchip hold" just showed up today.

My ETA got pushed back last night from 9/6 to 9/14… frustrating to say the least.

I'm still in a limbo mode however, it's not from the chip issue. My truck physically shipped via rail from Dearborn to a terminal for transfer to convoy just south of Chicago. I'm 3 hours away however it 'sits' at the terminal and has for over 2 weeks. The why is truly unknown. The guess is lack of drivers. ETA 9/15-9/21 which has remained the same since it first began the 'shipping' mode.

Now all sites say it's been delivered. palsapp still shows "pending" w/null in the delivery location.

Yes it arrived and is getting picked up later this afternoon.
It had a ETA of 9/15-9/21 and arrived unannounced today.
So I’m thinking there is hope for others. Mine was a Dearborn build. Ordered 6/21, built 8/4, shipped 8/17, with 9/2 arrival. It also was a specific truck request so if I had to change to dealer stock they would not have had one.

I've also been bumped from 9/6 to 9/14 as of last night. That's my second bump, first was from 8/21 to 9/6.

Seeing all the 9/14s tells me this is not going to be quick.

Well it finally came. No pictures yet, but it's delivered. Of course I'm away and can't go pick it up untill next week. Ordered 5/19. Built 8/10 KC. Got delivered 9/1.

Mine got pushed to 9/14 but still "in production." It sure would be nice to have that powerboost right now. We got smashed by Hurricane Ida in South Louisiana ?

Ok, I just got home from my dealer. 3 days ago my truck was put on Chip Hold. My truck was built on 8/4 and had a delivery ETA of 9/15-9/21. That still holds and my dealer said that because dates were given he thinks that was Ford's best guess with their chip forecasts. They used to just build the trucks and drop everything on 10/31 as a placeholder. The fact that delivery dates are given is a positive even it if pushes once or twice at least they have chips identified for those trucks with chip delivery timelines.

That said who knows!!! I was working with the inventory manager and he said they had a stock truck show up yesterday that had an estimated delivery of the first week of Oct with no indication that it would be this early. When I asked him to give me his confidence that Ford would meet the est delivery for my truck he put it at 70%. Dearborn builds are taking 14-17 days to my location so it will need to ship very soon to make this timeline.

As a continuation of this clown-world with Ford, I noticed that our local dealership had two powerboost trucks that were literally built in Dearborn Monday (8/30) and have already switched to built status on the tracker. In fact, after calling my salesman about it, he already has preliminary shipping information, with a scheduled ETA of 9/20. He also confirmed my original order is also on a chip hold much like several other guys here.

I just said to hell with it, and had him reserve this truck for me. Silver instead of carbonized grey, but it has all my options (aside from interior work surface, which I may add later), plus a few more things I left off like max tow, co-pilot assist, larger wheel package and power tailgate/step.

At least this way I can have my choice between the original truck with no REAL ETA or this one that is about to ship or has already shipped.
