8/2 Build Week

No updates this weekend on my production status, but there are a couple of very similar dealer ordered trucks that are either built/ship or scheduled to be built this week that may very well arrive before my order, not surprisingly. I *may* look at this option if things don't change soon on my current build. We now know that Ford is pushing inventory to the dealers faster than customers, so we'll see if I can take advantage of the shifting winds.

I've started trolling the Ford inventory search again this week and there's definitely a trickle of trucks coming into the Boston area in the last week. But every dealer here orders the moonroof and 20" wheels and that's $2900 I just don't want to spend. And why would they order Powerboosts without the 7.2 Pro Power?

So I wait patiently for the truck that I spec'd. Wishing I had ordered power adjustable pedals though, lol.

Question about custom order rebates. I'd seen on here that the rebate for custom orders placed after April 1st had gone up from $500 to $1000 and in some cases $1500. Does anyone know what it would be in the Northeast? I'm taking delivery Tuesday and my dealer said smartvincent shows $500 but he's heard of $1000 so he's going to call Ford Monday but that the $1000 might be region specific.

For me it was $1000. When I’ve checked for incentives they say to go to the dealership website for local incentives. You have to look under the “Finance” section. There I found “regional incentives” tab.

Ok...I chatted with PF this morning. No update on my truck from the 8/4 build date. Still shows primary status as "In Production" secondary status is "built". My dealer ETA is still 9/15-9/21. Trucks from Dearborn to my dealer take between 14 and 17 days to be delivered. I need to be on a train in the next few days to make those numbers.

My ETA is 9/2 from a 8/9 build date and FP can’t tell me anything other than it’s built. No ability for them to actually verify what’s going on at the plant or track the convoy.

Best of luck. I'm in the 8/28 to 9/3 window for my 8/5 "In production/Produced" truck. Nothing has changed since the 5th. It looks like Dearborn trucks come to my area via convoy, so perhaps some update was missed and I'll be surprised by my dealer later this week. Not holding out a lot of hope though.

swinging into my night shifts today. Just woke up, decided to check the tracker, and the F150 tracker now shows NULL again for everything.

@victimofareload is the API still reporting data? On the Ford website my window sticker is no longer available and on the Mach-e and other trackers I am just getting null data as well. Didnt receive an email from your program of any changes.

First update iv had since 8/10. Palsapp showing delivery to my dealer is pending. Hopefully gets delivered soon.

glad to see at least some of us are getting some movement and information.

I really wish that there would be more information directly from Ford regarding the process. This silence is deafening.

I have bought 5 new vehicles from Ford in the last 9 years. While my loyalty to Ford isn't nearly as long as some, I feel like Ford should be making a better effort to communicate what is going on, and what are causing these delays for the rest of us. When even dealers are complaining that they are not getting updates from the mothership, to quote a well-known movie, "what we have here is a failure to communicate!".

C'mon Ford, loosen up those tight lips a bit.

My ETA of 8/29 changed to N/A on the Ford tracker. Otherwise, no changes today.
