For those of us still stuck in production weeks after build date, I am beginning to wonder if we're on some kind of component supply hold.
I did order a liner and tonneau but others in-wait have not. If you're weeks past your build date, did you order a high trim and options? My order was a Lariat 502a including a lot of options, including b&o unleashed, moonroof, and other stuff. no active assist. Wonder which option it is that might be holding it up.

Maybe it's the dreaded driver shortage problem. For those still waiting,, are you expecting convoy from the factory? I'm within 220mi of dearborn; maybe they have a shortage of convoy driver concentration around the factory.

Waiting so eagerly makes way for one to ponder these things...

It could be, but it's not necessarily still in production. FYI "in production" is the primary status but there is also a secondary status. This secondary status isn't available on any of the public trackers, not even the raw data feed. My dealer sent me what looks like an excel export of the vehicle visibility report as below:
Ford F-150 8/2 Build Week Screenshot_20210816-221407_copy_1688x595

You can see that though my truck is still "in production" it's also "produced", if Ford couldn't get more screwed up.

This makes me feel fairly certain that if there is an eta end date, not 10/31 or 1980, then it is truly fully built. I hope so at least

Good point on the ETA. You are probably right although, I wonder what the status was for all those waiting on chips earlier this year (?).

I've been unsuccessful extracting secondary status from Ford Performance and dealer. They're both stating it's simply "still in production".

I asked PF what my secondary status was and they told me in 30seconds.

I think PF is getting tired of the probably 10s of thousands of requests they get a day. They were very good at the beginning and not so much now.

To help you in your pondering with more info, mine is a 502a Lariat Powerboost, with pretty much every option you could get (moonroof, power tailgate, power running boards, active 2.0 prep, B&O Unleashed, work surface, tow technology, etc). The only options I didn't go for were Max Tow (my boat is light) and lockable underseat storage (wanted the flat deck in back).

My dealer is 313 miles from the factory in Dearborn (Covington, Indiana), and they're expecting Convoy direct from the factory.

Ford Performance was pretty short with me and told its still in production and to check back next week for the second week in a row. My dealer told me that its built and just waiting to get on a train. Who knows. You would think they have access to the same info.

Another small update tonight. 25 days just showed up under shipping. Which makes it 9/11. The estimated ETA still says 9/21 though.

I don't blame FP for the lack of support anymore because thousands of folks are texting in and requesting vehicle tracking.
No one is really asking much about vehicle parts, performance, etc...... really thats what their chat is for and is like all of a sudden they became a vehicle tracking chat.

The date on my window sticker just got updated again to reflect today's date. That's the third date to show at the bottom. My blend date at the top was was 8/8 and Ford's tracker still shows "In Production" with the same 9/2 ETA. I really wish I knew why the date at the bottom of the sticker keeps changing. Nothing else on the sticker has changed since it was originated.

I’m still of the opinion something about your order was updated. Maybe behind the scenes but something has changed. Idk. No proof to that.

I agree that something is going on but I don't know what it is. Maybe each time the truck gets moved from one spot to another it gets updated.

My sticker came out 7/28 and has updated once a week since....i.e. 8/5, 8/12. Did not notice any changes. Maybe they just automatically update on a weekly basis?

That makes sense the most sense to me. My sticker was 7/29, then 8/5 with out a change, my truck was "built" on 8/6, so it could be just a refresh, and if any changes are made during the week, that is when it would reflect.

Every day I wake up and grab my phone off the nightstand....It's the first thing I check....I have to run payroll today and that's my least favorite thing to do. I was hoping for a ray of light in my day......NO CHANGE
