Interesting. It’s the same sequence of events in my case but I’m about 4 weeks behind you. I made it to the apologize for delays email thus far

Hopefully things stay on track with yours. After reading all the horror stories, I’m really happy mine came in as quick as it did.

Granger called on 9/7 to finalize financing and arrange a date for pick up. Chip sent a couple of pics for me to stare at until I fly up there in a week or so.

I am 7/11 build week, moved to built a month ago and been awaiting shipment since. Mine is a Convoy shipment needs to go 4 hours from KC to St. Louis.

If the vehicle visibility report is accurate, my truck has been sitting in Blue Island, IL trainyard for almost a month. 100 miles from Dearborn. I was hoping it was actually on it's way to Houston, but just missing updates in VVR. I just checked with Ford Chat and she's saying there was finally an update in VVR on Sept 12th, and it's showing the railcar is in Spokane, Washington!!! Would they really send my truck from Dearborn to Spokane to Texas??

Really getting frustrated with the railroad delivery. It's supposed to come to Houston. It sat in a Chicago rail yard for about 3 weeks. Then it went to the west coast, Spokane, Washington. Now, since Sep 14th, it's been sitting in a Laurel, Montana rail yard. I'd like to know if BNSF actually has a plan to get my truck to Houston, or if they've simply lost track of what trucks are on that railcar...

Coming from the 8/1 group. My truck has been sitting outside the factory for 45 days and Ford doesn't even have a carrier assigned to pick it up yet.

I'm going mad as it seems they have no plans to get it shipped.

I dont know which is better, being built but sitting or being built and shipped in the wrong direction.

I might have the best of both worlds ?. Originally Jack Cooper was going to haul it via convoy from KC to lincoln, NE on 8/13. today my dealer I said that its likely coming via rail now.

After 4+ hours on Google maps the only way I found to ship via rail is to send it 500 miles to Illinois before going 500 miles back the other directin to lincoln.

Sometimes I wish I could be one of those people that buy something and never think about it again until the dealer calls and says it's ready for pickup. That's just not me.

Same: I spent all day looking at dealer inventories trying to convince myself to give up 0% financing so I can just go get something already.
