I think the Ford Chat sees the same Vehicle Visibility Report that the dealer sees. Ford Chat always recommends going to the dealer for the information. I think that's their polite way of saying, your dealer is getting paid for your truck order, they should be keeping you up to date. Some ford chat people give good details, and others give only basic. It's the luck of the draw. With one chat, it was like pulling teeth to get each individual piece of information. On others, they copy/paste the full line from the VVR.

If you don't get a good response from chat, try back later and hopefully get a different person.

Other than that, I don't think any Ford Chat person is going to get anyone on the phone and get more details than what is in the VVR.

Still waiting here. Granger, for all their positive pricing approach, does not have any post-sales support that I can highlight. I can't get answers and messages/voicemails are not returned. I'm a low-effort customer too. Ford chat has been really my only option.

Congrats! Slowly trucks are making their way out of production. It makes me wonder, did they get a shipment of chips and a bunch of trucks get completed, or did they find a few chips at the bottom of the bin and were able to finish just a couple trucks.

If I remember, and by your handle, you're in or near Dearborn. So shipping to you should be super quick. I'm 12 days into rail shipping to Houston with ETA to dealer Sept 10-16.

My F150 was scheduled for production the week of 07/25 and the tracker shows it arrived at Granger yesterday.

The truck is a Rapid Red Platinum 4x4 with 145” wheelbase.
Options include 701A, 3.5 Ecoboost, Moonroof, FX4, 3.55 electronic locker and 36 gallon fuel tank.
It was built in Dearborn and shows “Convoy” on the window sticker.

06/30/22 received email with VIN and “scheduled for production” the week of 7/25
07/20/22 tracker updated to “In Production” and window sticker became available
08/04/22 received email from Ford apologizing for supply challenges, delays, etc
08/22/22 tracker updated to “Built - 08/21/22”
08/23/22 received email “Your vehicle has been built” - est. delivery 08/31 to 09/06
08/24/22 received email - “Vehicle has been shipped”

Interesting. It’s the same sequence of events in my case but I’m about 4 weeks behind you. I made it to the apologize for delays email thus far
