Have nearly 50k on my truck and this has been an issue for as long as I can remember. Never took it in as it's always such a hassle, but now may be the time, unless I can figure out something obvious here for a solution.

Interior outlets, intermittent power issues. Sometimes they work, others they don't. I'd say a 50/50 split. Checked what I believe to be the correct fuse and seems to be seated fine.

Suggestions?

I haven't used the 120s in the cab much and haven't noticed any problems but I think if you check the power on board screen, you'll see its just 200W?

What are you powering? Could be issues with in-rush current, or power factor, etc...

A phone charger. Sometimes it's left in and runs, others times left in, it doesn't.
Just as often, don't have the charger in, it works, have it out, it doesn't etc etc.

The illumination power light on the outlet is hit or miss, to a point I just stopped using it and went to the USBC outlet charger since I couldn't afford being out, left without the ability to charge my phone.

Yeah, there is certainly something up with the circuit...either the 12V to the inverter, or the inverter itself...

Those outlets aren't live all the time.

45 mins after engine shut off. Something like that

I constantly use my in cabin outlets to charge my Dewalt batteries on my 21 Lariat. I've never had an issue. I'm an electrician by trade, and it appears to me that you might actually have a grounding issue. I'd check all connections from the inverter up to the outlets.

how old is your charging cable? Sounds like the issue we have been having with our Pilot. The cable was intermittent, and issue was resolved with a new charging cable. I realize it could be the truck but may be worth checking.

When my 400W inverter stopped working, the LEDs on all 3 outlets stopped illuminating, and I had a B1330:9A code that wasn't resolved by TSB 22-2324. In my particular case it looks like something in my inverter shorted out and burned out all the LEDs on my outlets, replacing the inverter, replacing all 3 120V outlets, and running a BMS reset resolved my issue.

Replacing all those parts cost me less than $300 and had I only needed the bed mounted outlet, the repair would have been about $50.

In my experience, about 80% of the vehicles that come in with a USB charging or connectivity complaint have bad USB cables in them. I'm always amazed that people are willing to approve a $165 diagnosis before even trying a second cable, especially when their cable has obvious physical damage.

It's important to note that not all phones use USB cables in the same way. My wife keeps two bad USB cables in her car (I've given up), one only works with her Samsung Galaxy S21 FE 5G and one only works with my Samsung Galaxy S20 FE 5G UW.

When diagnosing these issues, it's important to realize that a USB cable that works for one phone can still be bad and not work for another, and the same can be true for USB ports if the pin with the bad connection isn't used for every device. You can't just plug in a known good device with a known good cable and say "no problem found" if it works.

Not the charging cord, have tried quite a few.
Any other tools or bed outlet will do the same issue.

Were you ever able to figure out the issue? I’m experiencing the same and trying to have an idea of the problem before I decide to take it to the shop.

Pretty confident it's the tsb from post 8 but haven't gotten around to it yet.
My outlets all have been completely dead now for a couple months, no longer intermittent.

Let us know what you find.

I finally got around to checking on mine and the problem was the same tsb from post #8. I replaced the outlet in the truck bed and now all outlets have power. It took about 20 minutes max. Thanks for your advice on what to check!
