He now has the gift of looking at the tracker multiple times a day asking me "when is mine gonna ship" lol. Not sure which I like better, her surprise or his annoyance. Both are priceless in their own way.

My 29 year old son is buying my current truck, not the same as if I traded it in. When he was much younger I was ribbing him and he started to get upset. I asked him "What would your life be without dad giving you a hard time?" His response shut me up for a bit....

"Frankly? Perfect!!"

That is a very nice looking truck. Not a fan of Chevy, interiors are bleak! Stick with the f150, I got to the point where I felt I was never getting a truck, checking the damn tracker 3-4 times a day, until that one day you check expecting the same, and it says shipped! What a feeling! Hang in there if you can!

This is my first truck.. Considerered Chevy/GMC, but it just feels so yesteryear in the reviews.. Being that i only owned imports in the past (last domestic car was a 2006 300C Hemi), the only basis of comparison i have is that Chevy/GMC reminds me of Infiniti a few years ago.. My old 2014 QX60 is still being sold today almost exactly the same up to 2021.

The F150 feels so fresh, exactly how i felt when i traded in my 2016 Odyessy for a 2018.... Night and day difference.

Honestly, at this rate, the 2022s will be on the lot before some people see their 21s ordered back in 2020.

I cant imagine that happening! It seems like a long delay but thats a ways off

I think once the 2022 ordering starts in September I bet a lot of these builds will be canceled

Unless they plan on scrapping the parking lot trucks, I don't see how they could do that. Unless somehow they could collect insurance / write them off.

sorry I don't mean canceled by Ford to not be built I meant canceled by the customer to order a 2022. I suspect Ford will finish building these and continue to ship to dealers as brand new vehicles to be sold at full price.

I noticed that too today. Mine usually updates on Mondays and did this week. I don't think there is any significance to those dates changing.

My guess is that everytime the date at the bottom updates, a fairy takes another part off your truck and moves it to the line to ship a truck complete. ?

Truck still sits with eta of Halloween day.

Can't pick it up with my little Chevy cruze so now I'm probably going to have to rent a uhaul and store in garage for the next 4 months. $6k worth of crap for the f150 in the garage where the car is supposed to go is about the same value of that cruze. ?

Ford do you have any parts?

Stuck in 10-31-2021 delivery date for 2021 f150.

On 06-24-2021 supposed to take 2018 f150 in for EGR recall and emission control recall. Ford dealer called today and cancel 06-24-2021 appointment, lack of parts. Advised the part was to be released on 07-28-2021 and to call back in mid July to reschedule recall work.

I guess I will find out if Ford can keep that parts date. At least the dealership called.
