For those of you waiting since last year or Jan 2021 that absolutely need a truck ASAP for an upcoming trip, see if your dealer will give you a loaner vehicle. I could've sworn @cghall77 or someone else said their dealer was giving them the hookup because of the wait. Any of you that find a dealer that can/will bend backward to help you during this crazy market should keep that dealer for life!

You make sense, but I'll be surprised if that is how it all works. Part of your theory could be confirmed by @praveenperera's spreadsheet assuming he has color as a column. I'll report back if I spot anything to support your theory. I like it. Going with this theory, that would have to mean that trucks are parked together by color, right? Build together and therefore parked together.

Yeah, I don't know. I am just trying to make sense of the puzzle pieces I have lol.

Well the dealer I used, just pulled a truck out of loaner fleet to put on the market. 4k miles, F150 Fx4 Sport, Carbonized gray. It is up for sale.

We had been telling them since we first ordered that we had ordered an Explorer for her mom so she was all excited thinking we were surprising her mom. She actually went outside backwards filming her mother to capture the reaction and turned around and looked and I pointed at the truck and she said really, for me, Dad really, lol. She was completely surprised. I told my son two weeks ago when we knew one was coming and one was not. He now has the gift of looking at the tracker multiple times a day asking me "when is mine gonna ship" lol. Not sure which I like better, her surprise or his annoyance. Both are priceless in their own way.

Yep, you are correct, but I had to turn down the "offer". They were going to do us a favor and put us into a 2018 F150 with $6500 down, $320 biweekly and limited mileage until our truck arrives in September or October with guaranteed buy back value.

Ummmm no thanks. I'm guessing they were thinking we were so desperate because we traded in our old vehicle with them 3 months ago we would jump on it. Desperate for a vehicle, yes, but no way we would sign a deal like that. Trying to keep our options open on another truck, but will only buy something new if something hits a lot I like. GMC, not Ford. ? We have exhausted all possibilities of getting an incoming F150 from another dealership and there is nothing close to what I would be interested in. Don't want the kids to be trapped at home after being locked up for the last year, we need to hit the road in our new trailer.

I wrote a script that looks at the Cassens delivery PDFs for the dealers, it takes the VINs it finds on there, looks at the window sticker PDF to get the blend date and order number. Then it looks at the Ford tracker to get production date and order date.

You can see all the VINs of the trucks in the CSV from my post. You can look those up.

Keep in mind these are just trucks delivered to the 30 dealers i’m tracking. But I would assume the percentages are similar if we were to track deliveries to all dealers.

My dealer is supposed to be having at least two coming tomorrow. One is mine Blend 4/29. The other is a dealer stock Blend 5/14. They said they have "several" coming so I am not sure if the others were orders or what the Blend dates were.

How can you watch the dealers site on what’s coming in . ??

I don't know if you guys still care about these updates but here are the new numbers:

Total trucks: 355
Trucks built before May 1st: 109
Percentage: 30.7%

Last week:
Total trucks: 57
Trucks built before May 1st: 48
Percentage: 84.21%

The craziest part, there were 6 trucks built AND delivered last week. Blend dates of 6/15 and 6/16. Hello where can I get these updates

Thats what mine did yesterday. I am almost expecting the year to start changing now like maybe an eta of 2/28/22 or something

Guys I couldn't pull the trigger on the Trialboss. After test driving the trailboss, it is an inferior product to the Ford F-150. Also the 5.3L has almost 50hp less!!! Nice looking truck though, but just inferior. I also just watched this video on youtube and it is the exact truck I ordered and I have the same tire and level kit waiting at the dealer. I couldnt pass up my opportunity to get my F150, its going to look badass. Damnnit I just have to find my patience!!!!!

I know what you mean, this is my first Ford truck having always driven Chevrolet but I think you hit the nail on the head about the inferior product. It just seemed like a night and day difference in quality and features between the two.

That is a very nice looking truck. Not a fan of Chevy, interiors are bleak! Stick with the f150, I got to the point where I felt I was never getting a truck, checking the damn tracker 3-4 times a day, until that one day you check expecting the same, and it says shipped! What a feeling! Hang in there if you can!

I went through the same process, looked at the GMCs and and Chevys but couldn't pull the trigger. Ford really got us over a barrel by making the best truck available on the market.
