Woo-hoo, the count down has hit 150. I sit here now checking 2 count down clocks each week. ? Congrats to all those that have received their truck or atleast seen some sort of movement.

2021 Ford F-150 (XLT) is estimated to be delivered to dealer in 150 days.

I like that retirement counter, but can it handle another digit on the number of days... sigh

I finally broke and called customer service. The rep was friendly but didn't provide any insight or comment about trucks being completed after mine, no timeline on microchip install for my truck, and stated there is nobody else I could speak to for more information. More or less, all he would state is that my truck status is "microchip hold", meaning chips are being held from my vehicle (assumably for use elsewhere). Oh, he did say that Ford is planning on installing awnings to cover the stockpiled trucks. Great. They will need more than a few awnings for that job.

I picture awnings for whoever they hire to complete the trucks at the parking site. Would be a circus with enough awnings to cover every vehicle lmao.

Must be for protection from the snow this winter when they are still sitting there.

WTF is ford doing, awnings? Buy an F150 and we will toss in a free umbrella to protect your truck. Our resources are tied up installing these cool umbrellas and we will get to installing the chips once we have installed 20,000 canopies first. ?

I see some great advertising potential for vendors willing to cut a deal on these canopies.

The leading theory is that builds May 1 or later had enough supply for chips, etc and therefore no hold ups. The person you quoted was built May 1 so it doesn't help most of the people with a build week of 4/26. He squeaked by while the rest of us are stuck waiting

Perhaps there will be a global awning shortage in the next few weeks

Bumped today from 7 June to 30 June. We will see what happens.

I had the same 4/30 and 10/31, it changed to July 9th and is stating shipped as of this morning..maybe yours will change shortly

Something interesting just happened. After I asked for my deposit back, bad mouth my dealer, change my avatar and then something good happens. I just got a call from my sales guy saying my ETA was moved from 10-31-2021 to June 21st. He said he is getting me a visibility report ASAP to show me. He also said that the Ford Tracker should update in the next few hours.

My Build date was 4-27 so if this is all correct and I see it on the tracker tonight, I might have hope.

My eta went from 5/20, to 8/29 to 10/31 and now 6/21.

I might not be out just yet. We will see if all of this is true.


So contact your dealer and ask for the Visibility report. Things could be moving.
