Found ONE truck that was built in our build weak, BLEND 04/26 that was delivered to a Toronto dealer today: https://www.windowsticker.forddirect.com/windowsticker.pdf?vin=1FTFW1E89MFB56618

Theres no rhyme or reason to these deliveries, I see a bunch of May 15-27 blends, a few March ones, and now ONE April build.
$94,000 for a F150, oh plus 13% tax. $106,000. Do we have this new luxury tax on vehicle Trudeau was proposing? No thank you, that is just crazy to me, but as long as that customer is happy with their purchase, that is all that matters.

I email them once a week to let them know what a disaster they have created by not delivering trucks in sequence based on the receipt date. Again I tell them I don't even care that I was a March order, get the 2020 orders done and then start working on January orders. Crazy they are fully processing orders from April.

Here is my response this week. Atleast they have given up on telling me they are processing orders in sequence after sending them a bunch of vins that proved otherwise.

Well guys I am out.

I had enough of this. My dealer isn't really trying to help me with finding a replacement truck while mine endures the summer MI heat. The wife and I talked and decided that the best course of action is to let the truck become dealer stock and move on. Hopefully by the end of the year inventory will be up and we can find something then.

I will ask for my deposit back tomorrow and then just rent a truck for vacation. I am not looking forward to losing my truck but I am less looking forward to getting a truck with unknown problems for sitting for another 150 days.

I just wish my dealer really cared more about my situation.

Hope you are able to carry on with summer plans. I feel bad for the dealers, talking to salesman today, he said they have vehicles that are still showing in production being dropped off on the lot. I imagine your dealership is much like the ones in my area, everything they have coming in over the next few months are already spoken for. I have been trying to keep my eye out within 250km radius, nothing available. I even call to see of there are any orders where buyer are backing out and in some cases, there is a wait list. Crazy times.

I hear ya.. Mine was ordered on Jan 3rd for crying out loud. East Court Ford has been pretty good in giving me updates (despite some of the stink on RedFlagDeals)...

I am giving it a bit more time and if by the end of next week nothing happens i am going to have to cancel the RV. I dont mind canceling the F150 as my dealer said they are happy to refund my deposit.

Getting closer. I hope to have it in 6 to 10 weeks. Once it arrives at dealer I'll have to dispatch an auto carrier to bring it to me. Unfortunately can't go pick it up in person. At least Ford has finally shipped it, just got updated this morning.

Congrats! What a long wait, but at least it should finally be coming to an end soon.

While we're all mad about delays in being able to buy a truck, I really feel for the poor sales staff at these dealers who literally don't even have cars to sell to make their own paychecks. I had heard some dealerships were forming funds to help pay their sales staff during the times of low inventory.

When I went to go see my new truck the other day the salesman was talking to me and said "It's a great looking truck, you'd see a bigger smile on my face if I had 5 more of them to sell". Everyone who is hurting the most from all of this are the people taking a hit to their paychecks due to the low and unpredictable supply. Just sucks all around I guess.

Thanks! Yep been a real long wait that finally seems to be coming to an end soon.

I just hope this means more orders will keep rolling out to the dealers. Well at least the retail orders like mine. Of course it'd be great to see some stock orders headed to dealers so they have something to sell. On the other hand at least the retail order is practically a guaranteed sale unless of course the person that ordered backs out but with the lack of inventory I'm sure they still won't have much trouble selling anything.

Woo-hoo, the count down has hit 150. I sit here now checking 2 count down clocks each week. ? Congrats to all those that have received their truck or atleast seen some sort of movement.

2021 Ford F-150 (XLT) is estimated to be delivered to dealer in 150 days.
