There are other rules, but I think that's the big one that limits the requests from the "get my truck and disappear" crew. These forums are rich with information, and I think they'll be invaluable when we get our trucks.

I agree with the invaluable part. As soon as my truck is at the dealer they are installing window tint, a leveling kit and I picked out some fuel contra 20” wheels with 295/60R20 falken wildpeak tires. That’s just a start, I will be looking at this site for other information on what I’m going to do next.

My dealer just sent me a few trucks to choose from that just arrived within the last hour. All stock orders and all May build dates. So all the information about Retail orders getting the chips is 100% false.

The only criteria for getting the chips was being build in May.

Nope, not even close. I told him, thanks but I am keeping my order and price. He apologized and said with as few trucks as they are getting he just cannot give me the same discounts. I told him I understood and told him to just keep me in touch.

One was a XLT and other other was a Limited, so it looked like all trims were being built.

Are you in Canada? I don't think that Palsapp really matters for Canadian orders, though I'm not sure. I believe that Cassens is for Canada convoy, while JTC (palsapp) is U.S. convoy

I have even tried trucks on the lot with both cassens and palsapp and nothing but the trucks in my area just east of Toronto are all shipped by rail. Dealer said the go to Toronto then from there shipped via a truck.

That might explain why the ship date and delivery date is usually the same date on Cassens.

Alright guys I'm tapping out. Like most, my ETA just got pushed to 8-23. While I realize that the ETA really does not mean anything anymore, I'm just over this whole thing now. The idea of plunking down 55 + thousand dollars on a truck that rolled off the line partially built, sitting in a parking lot for months on end, then final assembly by a third party contractor has turned me off to the point I don't want it anymore.

Good luck to those of you sticking it out. I really hope you all get your trucks as soon as possible and in the end, are very satisfied with your purchase.

I hate that man! I found one with a similar build but a few extra items I didn't need, but I may just have to plunk the $ down and go 14 hours away and pick it up when mine pushes out too...
