Well, I finally abandoned ship on the F150 I ordered. I wasn’t in a dire crunch like some to get a truck, but not having one for years and finally making a decision to purchase one and put in an order for what I wanted to have it sit with no clue to when it will make it in, I let it go. We originally thought we could still get the x-plan when we ordered, but later found out the company opted out of renewing whatever they needed to back in Oct 2020. So we didn’t agree to any special pricing since we thought we were doing x-plan.

So I started looking at F250s again and found one that was just built end of May and got to the dealer on Thurs. We picked it up today.

I hope all of you that have a good offer locked in can get something soon. I would have liked a lighter truck, we pull our’s behind a motorhome, and the powerboost, but I wanted a SD diesel when we let our 350 DRW go so that was what I ended up getting after all.

Congratulations, of the 2022 f250 was available I'd be jumping on that. The diesels are great trucks. ?

Window sticker was gone for about a month from Ford tracker and forum tracker, window back today on forum tracker. Still showing 10-31-2021 delivery.

My window sticker is still MIA.

I ordered 2/13 in production 4/30
Delivery is still 10/31. Hopefully it will change.

what is the significance of the window stickers absence? I have the same issue, dealer printed it for me a while back as it wasn’t available online, it’s only now showing on the forums tracker.

Truthfully no significance. Speaking for myself only, it offers a slim sliver of false hope that it updated and renewed due to something being moved around at the plant. Like possibly pulling my truck out of the junkyard for formal finishing touches... I have no doubt there are hundreds of other reasons it could refresh. A man can dream.

In my case, the dealer isn't the problem. They let me know what they know when they know it. Problem is that information isn't flowing to anyone from above.

I fault my dealer for not being more aggressive with Ford. 6 months all I heard was we have no new news. Once I really started to push back for more information the dealer got Ford people involved looking for options. Found out Ford had recently and quietly determined the best approach was a new expedited order and had been processing them for other dealers. Ford knew or and realized these boneyard trucks were going no where until possibly October. That's when they moved most everyone's ETA to 1990 and then 10/31/2021. Ford reps were quietly reordering trucks for frustrated customers. IF my dealer was on top of it my truck would be here by now. Trucks reordered mid April after the disaster occurred were delivered before Memorial day. Dealers who are sitting back waiting are just as culpable for not taking care of their customers best interest.

Update: My window sticker is back online this morning with a 6/13 date. The last time I was able to view my sticker online, it had a date of 4/1 on it. (I saved copy on my computer)

The truck's ETA remains 10/31.

Well I felt exactly the same this morning as my window sticker is now available on the tracker, a slender thread of hope as I look for it nearly every day...what have I become? My build date was 4/26, not sure how concerned I should be with it sitting for this time, enough to not take it after this wait? I’m a little conflicted, I guess It will depend on how long it has been sitting when it finally ships, but if it isn’t getting here until the 10/31 date, that may be the deal breaker!

I’ve bought 3 F150s off the same sales guy over the last few years. He keeps me posted on what he knows. For just his clients, he’s waiting for 18 trucks. The dealer as a whole is 64. There were a few that arrived “unannounced” and sold before they got off the hauler!

I’m just a bit surprised that they don’t give the customers that have been waiting a choice. Of the ones that are arriving that are close to what we ordered, we could jump on those with the agreed upon deal. Let them sell our Ramp 59 trucks whenever they come in at MSRP.

Glad seeing everyone’s input! Hope it’s sooner rather than later

PS The GM dealer in town has ZERO trucks on their lot.??

My parents went over to a Subaru dealer to look for a new Forester yesterday. Pretty large dealership usually with several hundred cars on the lot at least. Not a single new Forester currently available. Wild. All they had was a handful in transit or gave them the option to order one.

I should work for Ford. I came up with the perfect solution. Rebuild and deliver all special orders, in the order they were originally ordered. Finish the boneyard trucks and hold the "Friends and Family" sales event offering Employee pricing on all boneyard trucks. Win-Win. Those who have been waiting get their trucks, those who would otherwise not qualify for Plan Pricing get a discount for purchasing the boneyard vehicles. BOOM.

Those are beautiful trucks, love that color. Easily the nicest of heavy duty trucks in my opinion. Well done.

Interesting how you can get a good deal on Silverado’s and Seirra’s right now. Ford is asking for an arm and leg from people for their trucks and gm is giving discounts. The trail boss is tempting, I think I’m going to call my dealer and see what they can do for me on a stock order and if I don’t like the answer I am walking away.
