With @3Wliners great generosity, I won one of their bed mats for my 2023 F-150 Tremor!
The bed mat was shipped via Fed-Ex, and arrived in a box with a great carry handle for ease of moving it around. In the box, there was an air freshener as well! I haven't opened that up, and one might think it was to counter the plastic smell mats can have. There was no such plastic smell though, and I haven't smelled any off gassing either!
The mat is folded in half and thirds to fit in the box, so I let it lay out in the heat of the garage for a few days since I had an empty bay while working on my Mercury Grand Marquis.
Once I placed the mat in the bed, I could tell that the dimensions for the mat are spot on for the bed! It’s a very snug fit, needing some bending to get the rear corners in place, under the tie-down points.
The seal around the edges is very nice and tight. I think this will work well to keep dirt from accumulating under the mat like can happen with just a rubber mat.
Due to the tightness, at both ends there are a couple of proud areas where it should be flat. As I’m still awaiting an alternator for my MGM, I’ve been driving my truck to work and it’s been out in the sun quite a bit, and as you can see in the photo with the chairs, the mat is flattening its self out quite nicely.
Due to the folding, there was a bit of a dent at the middle at time of install. I anticipate this to go away over time, due to how the ends have changed.
The fit at the tailgate is nice, and doesn’t bind with the tailgate. The partially seen crate hasn’t slid around yet either
If you're looking for a tight fitting bed mat, make sure you take a look the mat from @3Wliners!
