It works just fine. I have a Tremor, and used my Ford points to have the dealer install a TPMS, activate it, and balance my spare wheel so I can do 5-wheel rotations. All it takes is 2-3 ignition cycles with some driving for the pressures to update to the correct spot when you look at the tire...
