I have a ‘24 XL F150 that had a manual seat and I was looking to upgrade to a powered seat. I purchased a 10 way powered seat from a salvage yard out of an ‘18. I swapped the cushions from the ‘24 to the ‘18 frame, plugged it in, bolted it down and everything works perfect! The only thing I couldn’t use was the heater in the seat, but no biggie.
Sorry I didn’t video it, but if you take your time and be careful with the clips and wires, you’ll be fine.
You’ll need a 13mm for the 4 bolts in the frame and a 10mm for the 2 air bag nuts.
you’ll need a mini pry bar and some various screwdrivers.
So, if you want to swap from a manual seat to a powered seat, it’s a simple process.
