How many times do you refresh your update page knowing that it will not change for the next 7 days? How many times is too much? Asking for a friend...

A www search reveals things like this:

  1. Convoy means it leaves the plant on a trailer to either the train station loading yard or the final destination.
  2. Rail means it's loaded onto the train right at the plant.
  3. Everything out of KC leaves the plant on convoy. There are 4 rail yards serving KC but none at the plant. Dearborn has a rail yard right at the plant so it's a mix of rail and convoy.
Basically convoy is much more predictable and quicker, BUT not if your convoy is just transporting your truck to the rail yard for rail transport.

I would think trucks faster only because it goes straight to dealer vs train going to centrally located rail yard, to be loaded on a truck and then to dealer. But for all I know, it’s goin to be loaded and unloaded 10 times before it hits my area. If your going by rail your likely farther from the plant or more remote of an area I would assume.
I tried looking up rail vs convoy. There are a bunch of variables that could make convoy way better ar way worse, so who knows???
So I worked for a Ford dealer for ~9 years. I’d routinely track orders coming in via rail. The route taken is very inefficient and 25% of trains would breakdown with no idea of when it would get going again.
Mine says convoy, which is strange because the ramp code says Union Pacific to a big rail yard about half a mile down the street from my office here in Port Allen, LA
I saw a post on another thread that said it says convoy between the plant and railcars.
All our WS's say convoy. I'm guessing they will update

@Rex150 , your window sticker is now showing too. 4/1 blend date. See the tracker for a link to your ws.

welcome to the club.
Thanks! I am shocked at the MSRP increase from my order to the window sticker. $1,880 difference. I also have X-Plan but not sure where that falls below WS MSRP. Wonder what price I am going to have to end up paying.

won't be an issue. sticker price is only relevant if you buy on the lot. You will pay what your earlier agreement was...if you have an honest dealer

Time for some useless facts...I really need to get back to work...so c'mon Ford give me my truck already.

Looking at various Window Stickers I can see how many trucks are being built per plant per day.

This is based on the small numbers at the top right hand corner. My WS for 3/31 shows 2269/2561 for example.

3/22 - Tuesday1947
3/23 - Wednesday4101
3/26 - Saturday1760
3/27 - Sunday595
3/28 - Monday2399
3/29 - Tuesday2399
3/30 - Wednesday2870
3/31 - Thursday2561
4/1 - Friday1784
4/2 - Saturday1784

Occupation
FORD SERVICE ADVISOR
I haven’t noticed a 3/28 build week thread, so here we go…
Ordered on 1/29, received build date of 3/28 on February 10th.
nothing since, I will take that as good news.
I have a Lariat in Atlas Blue, Supercrew, 6.7 bed, 501A, max tow

I ordered a 2022 Lariat in Carbonized grey with the high package, FX4 package and the sport appearance package with the blackout. got a email conformation but no movement as to a vin# or schedule build date. Hoping it starts on the week of 4/4. I work for Ford in service and still cat get any info. I'm locked out of the sales dept side of things.

Do an online Chat with Ford, have your VIN and order code ready. They should have your build week. There is a 4/4/22 thread if thats the week you are in. Good luck!

What are you guys planning to install for tonneau covers, if any?

I'm currently stuck trying to decide between a RetraxOne MX and Lomax Tri-Fold.
