What are you guys planning to install for tonneau covers, if any?

I'm currently stuck trying to decide between a RetraxOne MX and Lomax Tri-Fold.
I already have a cover collecting dust in my garage that will get installed when i actually get my truck. I wanted a roll up that worked with a rack so i can haul my 4 kayaks camping. I went with the Sentry CT and Elevate Rack system.

Yeah I nearly pulled the trigger on the Retrax a couple months ago but the wife shut it down cause it "didn't make sense to have it sitting around the garage for months"?. She was probably right but now the only problem is I found the Lomax.

Like the security of the Retrax but losing bed space sucks. Lomax isn't quite as secure, but its close, biggest pro is how easily removable it is for full bed access when needed. IDK

Well today's an emotional roller coaster I guess. Order changed to In Production this morning, and when I refreshed over lunch to see if the WS popped it's back to Confirmed.

Yeah welcome to the club of having parts for a truck you don’t even have yet. I’ve got a bunch of small inexpensive stuff, but I’m about to order 35” Toyo MTs. I don’t want to go more than a couple of days with a stock truck ?

You mounting those 35's on stick wheels? You gonna level it? I really want to level and put tires on mine, but I dont want to kill my fuel economy

Yeah. 2.5” level on the stock lariat 18”s. It definitely doesn’t help the fuel economy but I’m not too worried about it, as it’s not really that much of a difference. I want to enjoy my truck. If that means I get 50 less miles on a full tank, so be it. This world sucks too much to not be driving around in something I want.

Time for some useless facts...I really need to get back to work...so c'mon Ford give me my truck already.

Looking at various Window Stickers I can see how many trucks are being built per plant per day.

This is based on the small numbers at the top right hand corner. My WS for 3/31 shows 2269/2561 for example.

3/22 - Tuesday1947
3/23 - Wednesday4101
3/26 - Saturday1760
3/27 - Sunday595
3/28 - Monday2399
3/29 - Tuesday2399
3/30 - Wednesday2870
3/31 - Thursday2561
4/1 - Friday1784
4/2 - Saturday1784
It would be cool if there was a way to see what what production number they are on at any given time. Like what is the last number started on the assembly line.

I agree. My truck won't even be a daily driver, I have a car to commute to work.

we are really letting our inner geek shine through here but imagine if they can put a webcam up and you will receive a login to view the live finishing/birth of your truck. They can let you view it for 60min around the approximate end time of your truck. I mean imagine!!!

but then again we are talking about ford, they cannot even get the basic communication type stuff right at this time(not taking about logistical challenges, i have aympathy for them there)

How hard would that really be to do this day and age?! Hell, BMW will let you fly out, stay in the attached hotel, watch, and pick your car up at the end (for many years now)! I still say I'd be happy to come out to Dearborn and pick my truck up when it's done. Save them the trouble of shipping it and me the 30+ days for it to ship.

Be careful with the Elevate… rails clamped over rails.

I dont understand what you mean? Are you referring to the tonneau cover clamping down to the t slot elevate rails? I know there are some fitment issues when you look a YouTube video comments

....buy the hardware, hire a crew to manage and support for each shift. How much do you want to spend on a truck?
