Okay guys - Looking for a bit of “high level” assistance: I received the same email many did on 04/07 that my order was delayed. I just checked and my truck is showing up on the FordPass app. I see a lot of other guys checking with Ford customer assistance and on third party sites tracking deliveries, although I don’t have the hours in my day to do such things. My question is simply, “Where am I at?” - Essentially having the truck show up on the app, but my online tracker still showing “In production” since 04/01. Many thanks in advance!!

Call your dealer and ask for a copy of the VVR. Everything else is just trying to figure out other indicators, but the best detail is through the dealer.

Depending on your dealer. Mine just told me today all they can see is 'in production'. ?

You are probably on chip hold. Your truck is essentially built but there are features that require chips to finish and ship so they won't update it to say fully built until that happens. Same boat here. In production on the tracker since 4/6, got the delay e-mail last friday, modules/tear tag all populated, and it's showing up as activate in Ford Pass.

Not sure how you are getting that specific info. Maybe it's a US vs Canada thing?

I called Ford Canada this morning and was told all they could see was 'in production'.
No further info available.

The tracker has always worked for me for some reason. Lots of others in Canada complaining consistently it's not working for them.

I went to the dealership today as the saleman was dodging me for seven days straight. Annoying seeing as my last contact with him was over a month before.

I spoke to the ordering manager face-to-face and he said the Ford VVR does show a delivery of April 22 - 28th. He also said that the odds of that actually occuring is slim to none. What I got from this conversation is that Ford itself was not expecting this shortage and haven't updated their projections.

So I am in the dark until there is some forward movement on the VVR.

I have a little info from picking up my truck. Paul Miller in Lexington Ky where I ordered from got a truck full of F150s Saturday and two waiting Sunday and two on Monday. It had 4 orders on them and the rest dealer stock My salesperson told me. (there are 4 Ford dealers in Lex )In the bunch was 4 Broncos 3, 4 doors and 1 2 door all 2.7L. The 2 door was a manual trans. I tried to buy it they said no. I Was back today at the dealer and all the Broncos had dealer plates on em. So I’d say FOMOCO is finally filling dealer stock. IT appears to me orders are suckin hind tit when it comes to chip module priority. I probably should’ve not spoke about it. Except I feel like if thats the case, fess up.
I do know the Dealer I used hasn’t had much new stock for a year. It’s gotta be lean times selling used cars.

My local dealer gates Ford has gotten 3 truck deliveries in the last 10 days. I gotta say all SC are XL And most screw are XLT and king Ranch. thats my on the ground observation for what it’s worth. speculation.

Finally got to pick the truck up today. It was delivered to the dealer late last week.
