It's a shame they can't ship the trucks awaiting chips and have the dealer install them. This would cut out several weeks of waiting in a lot of cases.
Congratulations to those getting their trucks, looking forward to seeing all the pictures!

There are a lot of January guys still waiting which has me scared.

Glad to see a number of people getting deliveries and shipping. I'm getting closer myself, but in the days of 2 day shipping for many things, it's a bit hard to wait when you know the truck is sitting there ready to go.

My railcar showed up at the rail yard on April 9th at 10pm and was unloaded this morning April 12th at 4am. So, now it's just another wait for a trucking company to shuttle it 55 miles. Maybe by the weekend!

Was told this morning that my shipment begin date is between 4/13 and 4/19, so I’m trying to be hopeful that it starts moving this week!

Same fear here. At this point all I care is that the Job 1 trucks get finished before Job 2. It's going to be a slap to people who've been in production since January to not get their trucks before Job 2.

It can't imagine how those guys feel. Each person who gets a Ford Pass activate button or built email in the 4/2 week kills me. Those guys have been living that hell for months!

When I checked the tracker today the "New Vehicle Guide" was now appearing and wasn't there as of at least Friday last week. Of course, why not bug Ford Chat while I'm drinking coffee before work. Today they are telling me it's built and on chip hold with an ETA of 5/2-5/8 for the chips to arrive. The agents don't have any info on this stuff really.

Today they are telling me it's built and on chip hold with an ETA of 5/2-5/8 for the chips to arrive. The agents don't have any info on this stuff really.

I don't think anything's true at this point. There's probably a date slapped on the account that's entirely meaningless. Last week 5/2-5/8 was my ETA at the dealership, now that's the ETA on chips. Next week I'm certain they'll give me the same dates, but that'll be the ETA to load on a railcar for delivery.

I haven't looked up other forums but is it the same story elsewhere? I almost ordered a Ram Rebel, would I have that truck by now then?

I had the same conversation with marketing. Was told delivery to dealer by one rep, chip delivery by another, and another even said chip delivery and dealer delivery on the same day.

The dealers are having trouble with stock as well. My dealer shows incoming stock and you can pull the order/VIN easily from the Window Sticker and check the tracker. They have one almost identical to mine that's been sitting in production since 2/16, and another that went into production on 2/24 and built on 3/15 and still not shipped yet.

Same thing as the rest are experiencing. They said to dealership 22-28 which would be the fastest delivery time to date. I am going with the chip will be installed between April 22-28.

Not sure how you are getting that specific info. Maybe it's a US vs Canada thing?

I called Ford Canada this morning and was told all they could see was 'in production'.
No further info available.
